As I said earlier my sponsor wants me to gain admission myself, so once i get registered for the SAT, my pastor, who has been the one helping me throughout my secondary school years and He's currently aware of all this, he has promised to help me get my passport once I get registered for the SAT. As for my main sponsor he his ready to take all other expenses related to travel. That's what he only promised to do And I think he's pretty experienced with travel cos he's kids are currently studying at UOFT canada.

Pls anyone on this thread that can help me!
Pls kindly DM, I'm a poor boy oo, pls kindly contribute to my future my father is a road side mechanic ooo. I'm the one aspiring to become the future Elon musk from the rurals of Nigeria

If his children are studying in Canada and if he knows much about travel then ideally he should know passport is the first step and not SAT

What if you register for SAT before passport and passport doesn't come out by the day of SAT.you wont be allowed to write the exam ....occasionally we hear stories of been out of passport booklet for monthsssss .

If that the condition he gave you then that a hard one because it is in the wrong order ...also how many more conditions are there . This waka is not a small waka o. Even with full ride there would be lots of expenses .

RemarkableMind was one of the guys had in mind and I talked to. But I had make a list of about 5 students from here, and I was planning to make them each help with $20 each. That would amount to $100, towards the SAT. That is the man he wanted to curse grin
I am starting to feel something is not right. I think it is better everyone relax. We will be Okay!

no don't get me wrong, why would he suggest that you shouldn't render assistance simply because someone who doesn't know what's going on said something kinda negative.

I do believe in God!

Why don’t you study in Nigeria and then go do a PhD in the US? That might be an easier route and would save you thousands in the end. Not everyone’s dreams will follow the same path. Don’t be distracted because others are going to America now... I hope as you try to register for SAT, you’re also working to gain admission to a good college program in Nigeria. Always have a plan B in your back pocket. All the best.

I've got Olympiad experience, NNPC science competition, cowbellpedia, pz cussons chemistry competition, Lagos State jet& science competition e.t.c
I've also taken lead positions in school clubs and societies.
I was recently awarded scholarship by Lagos State to study at any Nigerian University, but I'm not really interested in studying engineering in Nigeria because of it's incompetency in practicals.

List of universities I'll be applying to

MIT
Stanford University
Yale University
Princeton University
Harvard University
Northwestern University
Amherst college

I also have recognition in Lagos State as one of the top 100 best students.

Pls what's my chances of getting admitted and also chance of getting my F1 Visa approved.
I'll be using the common app though, but ain't taking SAT, reason colleges are test optional+ SAT not administered amidst the pandemic. Also don't hesitate to scrutinize my write up constructively and help get admitted!!!
NB: MIT is my dream college

Thanks ❣️

Your WAEC results aren’t that great to be honest... considering you’ve listed mostly Ivy League schools as your target. You’ll need to ace your SATs to have a chance at all. You stand little chance of getting in or getting full ride scholarships to those schools... so how do you intend to cover tuition at MIT?

Best advice - see above.

I noticed you have been seeking his attention for a long time. Your Monicker is one of the many username that comes here once in a blue moon and the only thing they do is to attack people who is commonly known for helping on this thread, i can remember you way back since 2017. For your information, i am one of the many people that have had an encounter with Fairheart. Years ago, when i was denied twice at the embassy, i was in his inbox where he did not only uplifted my spirit but also gave one of the best advice towards achieving my travel plans. I followed his suggestions and it happened just the third time as he predicted. He never claimed to have superior knowledge and never claimed to be a consulate, he's always just helping in his own capacity and based on his experience. If we do not listen to people that are known for helping, is it some habaneros from nowhere, who are only known for attacking and never made any positive contributions on the thread we should listen to?? what do you gain by pushing these people away

Let me tell how I knew fairheart. In September 2018. I told my uncle in US I wanted to leave Nigeria. He said I should find out about admission since I was a fresh graduate. I went to 2 educational agency in Lagos for inquiry but one of them told me to pay consultation fee of 25K before they can take me in, and I have to pay $2000 for admission and everything else. My uncle said the money is too much and I did not have money, so I left. So I started searching on google, when I discovered this thread. I noticed fairheart lengthy comments, so I always read him. Then one day he posted his email address for a student and I copied it. I explained my situation and he advised since I have uncle in the US, I can study there for free. He sent me free GRE materials, i studied for 2 months and I scored 307. I used the instructions he posted on how to search for schools and all. When my admission came, I told him and we did a video call, which is how I saw him for the first time in March 2019. Omo come see plenty books for bookshelves. Then I realized he like my senior brother. Very gentle and intelligent person and always smiling. I told him I was scared because of refusals I read here in 2018, but he said I should not worry because my age is ideal for masters and I have scholarship on my i20. He offered to prepare me for the interview, so I asked how much. That is how he told me he has a consultancy as side hustle where he provide advise on career path to young people who wants to study in us & Canada, and help people with admission information if they can't go through the stress etc by themselves or if they are working. He said I don't need to pay him except i want him to start preparing me for the interview immediately, or if he is busy and I need him to put off what he's doing. I said I can wait, and he said we would talk by weekend then when he is free. He sent me a document with instruction, mirror practice, then on weekend (he said he is free on weekend) we did mock on whatsapp. He was very straight to me...Don't say this...don't say that. I remember he posted a dream about high approvals of F1. Bro, I got my visa first time. I don't say it was him that gave me the visa, but he played a big role with other people who took out time to help here. He always mention "my students" in his comments so it may be true he has a consultancy or agency, or he refer to someone like me as his student. What is more, his whatsapp status is always uplifting and educative to me. One time I even asked if he's born and raised in Nigeria, because he sound so intelligent in the way he talk about topic from politics to personal development to career etc. Nobody encourage me to read like this bros. Even as I write this, we have never met face to face. Yet he has influenced me so much.
Even if fairheart is agent, did he steal from him or scam him? he should tell us so that we know why he's attacking him specifically. There are even agents in America that help with admission and visa support. Even some former Consulars have agency and consultancy. Even US embassy around the world has its own educational agency where you have to pay before they can assist you, and they employ people there who work hand-to-hand with their students. Why he is demonizing him, i don't know. That guy is a sick evil person undecided If we try to bring a person down we have to know we will not go up too.

Good day.

I'd like to chip in with some little words of advice, to avoid getting into difficult situations like these in the future.

Firstly, you have to realize that you are not the center of attraction and the world does not revolve around you. Keep that in mind whenever you want to do or say anything. If people on this thread decide to help you or not, it doesn't affect them in any way. I love your determination and high self-esteem, but everything has a limit. Don't overstep, else you'd chase your helpers away.

Secondly, in life, you have no excuse for any wrong decisions you make. No matter what you say or think can exonorate you, you will still have to face the consequences of your actions in one way or another. There are other 16 year olds and even younger kids facing similar crises. I started this process when I graduated from secondary school at 14, had to hustle for sponsors as my parents didn't have anything to help me with apart from prayers. It doesn't mean that you'll start blame games, insulting anyone or transferring aggression. In life, no one owes you anything, including even your parents. Just calm down, put your head down and follow the process. Be ready to do research, there are organizations that sponsor high achieving students in your shoes. Do your research and find them.

Above all, I wish you the best.

Thanks

Guy, you no get any sense. Schools are on summer holiday idiot and I have all the time in the world til later this month.
I am the one that need to ask which university you are studying because you sound like illiterate.
Are you sick or what? Someone we didn't know until the day he started to post his comments came here and started asking for help, and you expect us to start dashing out money. How long have you stayed in US? Do you know how hard it is to even have a savings in this country with all the bills you have to pay as a student. Maybe your daddy is drug pusher pumping money to you sick asshole.
I wanted to be sure this guy is real because I doubt his story. This is not the first time people come here telling stories to arouse pity compassion. If I chat with his pastor or I see his facebook profile, I will know if he's real or impersonating. Until I'm sure he is real, I will send no dime. I have told mr fairheart already. Byinks foundation adopted as a less privileged indigent of Lagos State, with immense academic abilities, pls don't let me start to brag! Lagos government is an 100% partner with the foundation, and the letter on the magazine was from Lagos State government, Mrs fashola foundation congratulating all the scholarship awardees and showing support to the foundation.

I have 2 FB accts one i created while I was in jss2 another I created in ss1 so I can simply change my FB name details, and upload a picture of my pastor, even if you want to meet me& pastor in person, i could come with him or even ask my dad's apprentice to come with me dressed like a pastor, I guess you'd ask for his certificate of baptism lol I don't think that's a good way to test authenticity, bro I'm ready to defend myself.

If u want to help me pls kindly do, ok I'm sorry let me ask if the college that admitted asked you sir, to prove the authenticity of your essays LORS and all that got you admitted pls will u gain admission?

I totally understand u though, the world is full of scammers and fake ppl. Pls if you want to help me kindly, if otherwise it's doesn't affect my future rather it's make me stronger more confident and bold.

That guy is a sick evil person undecided If we try to bring a person down we have to know we will not go up too.
hii..pls how much did it cost you to process everything??Thanks
