It is not in your place to weigh which sin is higher or lower. If you understood the position of the Temple in the Old Testament, you won't have directed that toward me.

Back then, serving Levites die in the inner chamber of the temple just because of tiny blemishes because it was the abode of God's Spirit (Holy of Holies). Up until the veil in the temple was rent in two, it remained the abode of God until the passing of Christ and the entrance of the Holy Spirit. If you understood this, you'd know why Jesus did what he did.

The Spirit of God is no longer confined to the temple but in our hearts. Stealing from a church now means nothing, compared to way back. The act in itself is the problem, not where it is done.
