As far as I know, you cannot apply for a study visa to go for a Norwegian language preparatory program. Only people currently resident in Norway and EU citizens can do so.

With Covid 19, you can ask the school what's currently obtainable and do your own research about the current visa requirements.

If i'm not mistaking Norway won't grant you a study permit for study programmes lower than Masters even if you manage to get admission

I SENT AN EMAIL TO UNIVERSITY OF BERGEN CONCERNING concerning the one year norwegian language preparatory program but they told me they dont offer a preparatory program but university of volda does when i check university of volda website this is what i saw

Applicants from outside Eu/Eea- area must be qualified for further studies to be considered for admission to Nis. The study program in which you intend to continue on after completing Nis must be a program from volda university college. (but they dont have the course i want to take)
in your motivational letter put which bachelor/ master degree you intend to apply to after completing Nis
application portal opens first december and closes 1march (i guess we have to wait till next year)

Norway is a very beautiful country, not as cold as Canada during the winter, but a very boring place to live in because Norwegians are naturally boring people. Language barrier is a problem as well.

No rules per se, just do what is right irrespective of who's watching so we don't give the country a bad name.

When you get to Norway, you'll meet Nigerians and get to adapt quickly.
Talk with Nigerians a lot because that'll be your easiest route to finding student jobs and getting to know your options during and after school.

All public schools (state colleges and universities) are tuition free though you pay a small token for department stuffs while private universities charge tuition.

You cannot use hnd to appy for Masters. Its only acceptable if you want to apply for a bachelor programme.
