Oga did you even read the complete interview?

He didn't wail insult, accuse or blame anybody. In fact he's doing fine.

Instead he praised the FG and some governors and also has plans of expanding to Imo and Edo.

But somehow you find a way to accuse him of things he didn't. Bro calm down small, no be everybody dey play games of tribal superiority.

He is a great businessman. I think he need to do more about his company branding to help people believe he has a great product. Nigerians are the worst when it come to consumption of local products. Colonial mentality is still strong. Imagine, lawmakers of a country going for a foreign product rather than one built by one of their own inspire of the fact that he already has a great product.

It's almost a waste of time putting in any effort to make Nigeria sane. How can the legislature of a country with the largest number of poor people globally choose, almost biannually, to expend scarce FX on buying expensive foreign automobiles at the expense of a budding Nigerian brand (however "inferior" they think it is). This is nothing short of madness!

I was watching a program shot around 2008/10 on Aljazeera about India and the struggle to gain admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). To my amazement, a senior police officer of a rank somewhat equivalent to a CP had a Fiat Padmini as official vehicle! Up to the early 2000s, the PM of India was using the Hindustan Ambassador (an iconic car) for state functions. This is an India with an economy almost 7 times the size of ours!

Ideally, what should be the business of officials of a country with over 100 million poor people (highest globally) with expensive foreign automobiles?

When some dunces want to make excuses, they'd say Innoson is not a proven brand, or that it is an imitation of a Chinese brand. So what! It employs Nigerians; pays taxes and duties into the Nigerian coffers; it is making our auto industry kick and it is putting us on the map of automobile manufacturers! Commonsensically, against what some lunatics would infer by saying "moving coffins", if the IVM brand of automobiles were not safe, foreign countries wouldn't even come near it.

China kicked off by imitating Western automobile designs and concepts, exactly what IVM is doing. Today, it is leading the US in the race for 5G technology and breaking new bounds in other areas.

This is a country of foolish, myopic and ignorant people.

It is just obvious that this country don't have good leaders with conscience on the plight of their gullible masses who are so dumb to see this...

They would rather cheer them up.

When you speak against all these anomalies, they tammed you a wailers.

Tbt, my folks like suffering.

Let the suffering continue.!

God will continue to bless Innoson until they become a global brand like Toyota.

Check the part in bold. This was exactly what I told people making noise about FDI. You can check the thread I created on this particular issue. Locally grown brands is 100% better than FDI, and this is exactly the same sentiment Innocent Chukwuma expressed here!!

I have been noticing your tribalistic comments. The bitterness inside you is no different from that of Buhari. You go run mad one day on top Igbo people headache.

So you mean nass actually refused to patronise the company in preference for foreign cars.? What were the reasons they gave for not buying indigenous?

A deal like that could have saved hard-earned foreign exchange, enhance automobile manufacturing research and development, create jobs and boost the local economy.

That is a reasonable decision.

They are coming to Africa to make profit and not lose¹ they want to make as much profits as possible and go. They are not interested to build us.

I Love this man, ever since I have read his stories few years back I have loved him

Why is SW not patronizing including northern, and other Eastern Nigera, the truth of the matter is we are all hypocrites

Just imagine if SW gvts have supported this man we might be lucky to have an indigenous car manufacturing company on this side.

Buy Nigera to build Nigeria has been sabotaged by our governmentss

Nobody owes Innoson anything. It is not by force to buy from him. Its a matter of choice.
He should stop this emotional blackmail.

Those that import or assemble other brand of cars are Nigerian business people too.
A Nigerian that imports VW or Toyota is a Nigerian biz man just like Innoson, everybody is running a biz, so it's not by force to buy his cars.

All this talks are blackmails. Na by force?

House of Assembly that isn't interested in the growth of her nation's industry... Too bad!!!

Behold the people representing you! Then you wonder why the nation is barely growing... If it's to approve ridiculous and foolish borrowing, they will.

Guy u get brain. Most Nigeria politicians are illiterate who don't know their left hand from the right. Look at China, they are competing with the US today but they started by copying Western technology.

They go to NASS for luxury and opportunity but not to help the masses who voted them in. Bunch of myopic and incompetent individual.
