I feel for my igbo brothers doing business in southafrica and ghana, it's not easy to leave with witchies and wizards, even here in Nigeria outside the southeast they hate and envy us somuch not because we are thieves or criminals but because we are more successfull than them even in their own soil, we must learn to leave with it if we want to remain in the top, don't let their hatered distract you, just be prayerfull and i can asure you all that the egyptians we see today we shall see them no more. #GOD BLESS NDIGBO #IGBO AMAKA

If you think everyone hate you, maybe you should take a minute to adjust your behavior. I will tell you from first hand experience your kind are the ones causing this insults to our image. Why not be successful in your own soil? is it cursed? more chest beating I see. Develop your state na and we will beg to live in your state as you are in other people's state. I don't see white expatriate or any other nationality doing business on foreign soil been treated like this because they respect themselves and the law of the countries they live in.
What is it to hate about you? which success have you achieved that has never been achieved by anyone.. people are sending astronaut to space, achieving wonders in technology and science, people never hate them ooo you are here claiming local champion peddling substandard Chinese products. God bless you and may he open your eyes to see that the world is bigger than a 2x2 shop.

Even if they expel all foreigners out of their country, that will not add any advantage to their citizens. Robert Mugabe did same, by forcefully ejecting the whites thinking that will improve the commerce industry of their locals and citizens. But look at Zimbabwe today, they went from bad to worst economy, with inflation hitting over 700%..

What you don't possess the capacity, even if they give only you the license, you will still fumble.

The Americans and other develope countries didn't close down the businesses of foreigners to have a strong economy..

The problem of my African brothers Ghana, and South Africa is inferiority complex, they lack the capacity to compete with the Nigerian Counterpart hence the witchhunt..

Why only Nigerian traders, why are they not closing down businesses of other foreign Nationals? Jus envy and jealousy.
But bottomline is that it is their country. Even if they will fumble and cannot compete, they like it that way.
Let us try to fix our country or stay here and suffer when we choose bad government.
How many Ghanaians, South Africans do you have in Nigeria?

Somalis and Ethiopians are also strong in small business in South Africa, so you're not special. The Ghanaians are retaliating for some building issue from last month.

You are too obsessed with people being jealous of u. There's nothing to be jealous of Nigerians for. Fix your country first then we can have something to envy. And stop being a white worshiper, SA joined the BRICS and G20 during black leadership while you were snoozing, and we just beat u to chair the Africa Free Trade Area. So go lick your wounds in a corner and open a dictionary for the true meaning of the word jealousy.

But you're on Nairaland

Even here in Nigeria..

At the bolded.... you always talk beyond your boundaries with your mouths, actions and inactions...
The only place you come in droves and where you had ever been successful in all your 'eternity is the SW especially Lagos and we pray that you continue to progress as we all progress too.

Either in Nigeria especially Lagos where you have most of your successes, you are still very much below the Yorubas or abroad where Yorubas tower above you Igbos astronomically,Igbos are still Yorubas little siblings.
Why would Yorubas envy Igbos who are below them?
You must be high on pig excreta.

I don't even know if they realize the ripple effect of chest beating and claiming to be the best. Look at the number of Yoruba doctors abroad alone, Yorubas dominate streets in UK without getting harassed or harassed by anyone because they know how to behave when you are living on foreign soil. A Yoruba man owned Gatwick airport and Yorubas didn't come out to celebrate him like he is a God, they don't worship money they simply appreciate good morals and values.

They talk about being all successful in Lagos, one question please, do they sell all their products to only Igbo people. You succeed off the backs of a group people and then turn around to insult them at every opportunity you get. This shouldn't be a game of who is bigger than everyone else because the success of Igbo people mean the success of the SW as we all know they will never invest anything meaningful in their own village.

Trust me! Deep think please! Group think please

Stop being petty
You are not smart, American or Irish have got human capital and of course the Canadians know that very well. Countries actually respect migrants or foreigners who comes into their country to invest monetary capital or invest human capital in it to positively add up to the country. Most Americans or Irishs or any citizen of a developed country travel to other countries as expatriate not like you that are economic migrant, make your host uncomfortable and add nothing to the growth and development of the country.

bro that isn't the issue, there are still Americans, Europeans, Asians, even South Africans doing businesses in Nigeria here. Does that make their countries bad? There is no justification to what the Ghanaians, and South Africans are doing to Nigerians, what they are exhibiting is pure and core hatred towards their own African brother who has been of help and support them by every means..

If the Nigerian government decide to take a retaliatory measures, they have more to lose than Nigeria, because they are of no use to Nigeria, but Nigeria is very supportive and useful to them

jealousy and hatred is the reasons people act that way towards Nigerians. I schooled in Ghana, life was good for me during my studies. Keep in mind, I did not hustle but there was something about the Ghanaians who just hate you been Nigerians.

I could hear Ghanaians say, you Nigerians how do you make your money? You Nigerians think you can come and take our girls! You Nigerians don't quit! Etc
Lol, you Nigerians are a deluded bunch, people aren't jealous of you, they are wary (difference). You are a nationality that evokes suspicion and uneasiness.

Although I would have left you alone to fool yourself more but I think you need to be tutored and help you to see things in the right perspective.

If Nigeria is a country of over 200million people, what is the population of your country? What you don't understand is that less than 10% of Nigerians are overseas and the other ones are not dying of hunger. The complains of Nigerians are only based on the resources the country is blessed with and what they are getting. I am proud to be a Nigerian.

In case you are not told, a south African company named ESS was chased out of Chevron location ( EGTL, Escravos) because of fraud and sharp practices. One of your biggest brands( MTN) was discovered to be engaging in fraudulent acts and the company was heavily fined. So, you still think you have moral right to mock Nigerians?

Few months ago, you country was down economically that you needed a Nigerian economist to help you out. My country is blessed with human resources more than all other countries in Africa combined. Tell me 10 great persons to ever "come out" of southern Africa and I will mention 100 from Nigeria. Thread softly !!!

In every country there are criminals but that don't make those countries less than others. While others believe in Pan Africanism, I don't because of people like you. Up till this moment, Ghana is no match to Nigeria and that they know. Your President is worse than ours but we are less concern

We may not be the country of our dream but every Nigerians are optimistic of the future of the country to be better. In case you don't know banter is part of our lives and the reason you read yabis on this platform and others. You fought the whites while Nigeria fought civil war ( in which the wound is yet to totally healed)

Ask yourself why are many nationals troping to Nigeria daily and still refuse to live if the country is bad as you read. Goggle to know more about these cities before you reply.

Abuja
Kano
Lagos
Enugu
Port Harcourt
Uyo
Ibadan
Onitsha
Kaduna
Abeokuta
Calabar.

You should ask yourself if the local people have the business acumen to run such businesses successfully.
I know some locals who will make sales and proceed to share their profit and capital (unknowingly) to their various girlfriends grin; then tommorow that local person will turn around and wonder why their business failed.
That is why those locals knowing their weakness for women and partying mentality will only resort to selling of building materials; though some locals are now being properly tutored and mentored by Igbos to overcome their excesses, while adopting sound financial principles to make their businesses grow.
Locals have the business acumen or not, that should not be ibos problem, they do not want you simple. I have come to realize that two ethnic group in Nigeria are the major problem of Nigeria and Africa as a whole and the ethnic group are the IBOS and the FULANI. Ibo are everywhere causing economic problems while Fulanis are everywhere with their cattles cause damage. In Ghana, South Africa, Togo, Cameroon etc Ibos shops are closed and they are ask to leave, or the other hand, in Ghana, Mali etc Fulanis are being dealt with in hearders and farmer clashes. Both ethnic groups are horrible
