I was told I can't apply now because of the new policy where we will be required to make full payment and that I will first start an online study here before finally going to Canada. Please how true is these?

Please who is saying this... That info is false pls.. In fact this is the best time to apply.

The above isn't a correct fact.
Apply now even if your school requires full tuition.

Payment is refundable and paying in full gives u an edge or so.
Now is d time to apply

Yes... But mind you, not paying, paying (full, half or deposit) is not a guarantee for visa approval. All lies on how you package your application.

He asked me to wait until the vfs open before applying
then he clearly doesn’t know what he is doing
Mind you you have from now till sept 15th to drop an application for fall
And it’s not compulsory you pay full tuition , unless your school requires you to pay a particular amount or you choose to pay your tuition
Check in with your school for their refund policy should you want to pay tuition!

Please check with your school policy.
Might be a full, half or just a token required for LOA to be issued.

Would love the house to clarify this

It seems as per travel restrictions, only those who got Approval before March 18th and their program has on-campus learning are allowed to come to Canada presently together with their Travel support letter from the school

I got a mail from my Int'l director as regards resumption for Fall 2020 students that have Paid their tuition,

So one of his paragraph captured my attention

He said:

If you have applied for the Visa and have not received any decision as yet, you need to wait till September 15 for AIP (Stage One Visa Approval) to be issued. If you receive an AIP by September 15, you need to then register immediately and start your program online as we are expecting IRCC to ask you for a proof of registration for September 2020 program before they issue Stage Two Final Visa Approval. If you DO NOT receive any decision by September 15, you need to defer your intake to January 2021.

Though my program is a strictly On-Campus program and has only a FALL Intake.

Does that mean that a proof of registration is a Criteria to get the Stage 2 final VISA approval?

Am also thinking, whether IRCC have told told all schools about the AIP and steps to take as regards that (reason is cos AIP is not assurance of getting approved)

&

He said We are expecting IRCC to ask you for a proof of registration for September 2020 program before they issue State Two Final Visa Approval
Cos this seem like an assumption to me (We are EXPECTING)

What's your take on this?

THANKS!!!

it’s very normal they send everyone that letter after you submit... when VFS open you can get your biometrics done!
People are getting medical request without biometrics done and AIP.

Wow.. This is going to be hard o.. Requiring registration before complete approval is given.. It doesn't sound like an assumption to me sha. I'm guessing it's a follow up from an agreement.. I wish others will contact their schools like u did so we'll be double sure.. The down side is the fact that your own program can't be online..

I would have suggested you send an email to the VO candidly explaining your situation but maybe u should wait till they ask you for registration

I thought you said your course doesn’t have Jan 2021 intake?
I thought your course is hybrid and cannot be done online?
Why don’t you let them know about the AIP you received and see how they response to that.

Okay you should let them know about the AIP you received, they can contact IRCC on your behalf and then let you know what to do.
I recently got an mail from the school addressed to IRCC on my behalf.

As in eh, quite an hard one if this development is true.

Like u said, the assumption might be true, but it will be more convincing if like 70-80% DLI's states that a "Proof of Online Registration is a Criteria to get the Second Stage Final Visa Approval"

Cos normally this can be concluded as a trickish way of luring people to pay Tuition & do online registration, and like it is bin said GETTING AIP is not an assurance an Applicant will get the final APPROVAL

Good day Sirs/ Mas. Advice needed on my wife's application.

1. She has admission for January 2021

2. She just gave birth

3. Our initial plan was for only her to apply before while the other family members join her later but with the recent delivery (just a month ago) , we felt if only her should apply it might want to raise the question of who will take care of the new babies

My question is hope it won't reduce our chances of visa approval if all the families should apply together considering the fact of home ties?
What is the beet approach to this situation ?

A decision hasn't been made in reality. An AIP is not a final decision.

Hello Fratermathy,

IF "A" or "ANY" decision has been made prior before a final decision, a request for withdrawal won't be acknowledged.
