I got it immediately. Checked my mail an hour ago and discovered that the account has been created. That was fast. I have also created a login profile from the website as i intend to do my monitoring from the login profile.

Oh good to hear that. You can always do the monitoring as you wish. Clients have the option of using the app, the web or both to monitor their investments.
Anytime you make a transfer your customer number must be written on the description or narration even if there is no space for your name for easy tracing. However, if you omit that anytime, kindly send evidence of transfer to customer care or chat with them online from the website so that they can do the needful. I am also available anytime.
Also preferably use normal bank transfer from your internet banking or bank app when making deposit and if done before 12 noon it will have same day value and interest and this option also don't have any charges attached apart from the normal bank charges. The card option will carry charges from the third party like interswitch but it's also okay if you don't mind.

I think I got a lil fond of the country

You know
There are many beer brands
And each one of us have favourite

It's the same for the citizenship by investment thing

There are a couple of them
And we all have our favourite.

And yea
Some of them have reduced the money small sha

It's for one to keep working hard and accumulating the money... once the time is set, our expat life then begins.

That citizenship by investment thing is something that one who seeks international footprint should look into (and if you can afford it o)

There is a country I was told I could get their citizenship with $20 grand plus one year of residency there
But I dont like the place like that...

But some rich folks from Nigeria are going there to settle too.
Like me, many of them are fed up with the madness
Which country is that?

@Udyawanga Yes it's a requirement for opening investment account in Nigeria it's one of the SEC rules and regulations.
For your information the purpose of the BVN is to
1. guide against money laundering
2. to personalize your account so that funds moving out of your account anytime is going to the right and mandated account;
in this regard, any mandate given for funds withdrawal that doesn't tally with the saved BVN can never be released. The system will raise an error
So it's actually part of your funds protection.

It will interest you to know that there is a level of acceptable SEC allowed view of clients details as per BVN; that you supplied your BVN does not mean Investment one has access to your bank account in anyway. By normal acceptable regulatory rules, all information you filled on the form online is direct to the server. As much as possible human interface is reduced to the barest minimum as regards clients information. That also means no one can make a change to all those details of yours except you give a written mandate for such to be done.
So sir be rest assure all information provided is treated with the almost confidentiality required of an investment firm as Investment one.
By the way I hope you used my link o to help my ministry grin

Thanks for sharing and the initiative taken by SEC to reduce unclaimed dividends in Nigeria, currently valued at over N100 billion.

My cousins were able to recover over N30 million after paying taxes and other charges as unclaimed dividends from their late fathers investment based on this initiative from SEC.

The old man died 18 years ago, they could only recover the dividends paid in the last 12 years, previous dividends became status barred after 12 years.

You can do it yourself or through your Stockbrokers.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ojesymsym: 9:56am On Aug 21, 2020
That is good news. But I guess it will still involve the rigorous process of getting letter of administration right?

Get in touch with your Stockbroker, you need document to prove that he is your father.

Since he died without a will, you will need a letter of administration.

Meristem Probate services or a lawyer with experience in this, will be of help.

Contact a Stockbroker for guidance.

No sir, we would not be having this discussion if he was. That is why I need to transfer ownership to us. He did digitize (I think that word is dematerialize) them at some stage. I have access to his CSCS number

Julius Berger and Nigeria Brewery have been consistent with dividend payments

Anotherpossibility is that, it is possible the money has been going into his account though.

When did he die?

If the money got into his account it won't be classified as unclaimed

True, if it is stated as unclaimed in that link, then it isn't been paid then, hopefully.

What is the most efficient way to convert 12 milllion to USD. I'm currently in U. S and I'm tired this treasury bills crap. The interest on investment can't even bit naira falling nor inflation. Is bitcoin a good idea? Is there any other better to invest other than naira? Investing in naira at this point is pointless.
