Hello, plz i need advice on honda civic from model 03 to 08 model. which one is good to buy .
his d car rugged,
fuel economy
his d part cheap.
also, d ground clearance, how can someone cope with .

Can d car be use for Uber /Bolt.
His d car rugged for ehailing.

Thanks in anticipation.

If your aim is Uber alone ... 03 to 05 is better, since it is cheaper to maintain and buy

If you aim to use it privately, for work and occasionally for Uber {na you go dey drive m oh} then the 06 to 11 is better since it is more tushed up.

03 to 05 looks dated but what the heck as long as e make me money using it on Uber

06 to 11 looks more modern, both interior and exterior (usa version especially).

Me I prefer the 06 to 11, I own one, I hate car that I can't look at and body no go sweet me.
. One of the reason I also hate corrola

Most people don’t know that Civic is more economical in both fuel and maintenance than that Corolla.
If not for the lower ground clearance
I wanted to the civic before I settled for Camry.
I’m looking at the 2013 for my next car.

Remove the Lexus from the list.. the Lexus is a luxury car and shouldn’t have anything to do with fuel efficiency..

The body parts of Pontiac Vibe is expensive. Parts like Mirror, fender, bumpers. It’s a good car if you can avoid getting hit by other cars.

The Civic and the Corolla are in the same category. Some will arguably say the civic is more easier to maintain than the Corolla. Though it’s a proven fact that it’s more sleeker and fun to drive than the Corolla. But the Corolla is a TOYOTA and you know what that name means on Nigerian Roads (RELIABILITY)

PS: Corolla is a thief magnet so don’t park your car overnight outside so you don’t wake out the next morning to Brainbox and other things missing

Hello guys, good day
Please I need your opinion on a problem I'm currently facing with my EOD. So I notice when I drive and I slow down (maybe in traffic) and it returns to first gear, it revs so high before it shifts to 2nd gear. And while it shifts it jerks. After gear 2 it would not go into any other gear again. While moving I put it into neutral and press acceleration but it did not rev past 3000rpm. It just jerks on 3000rpm. I parked and switched off the car and started it up again then revved and it was now normal.
At times it would repeat itself again and at times it would be normal for the rest of the day. On an average it does this 3 times a day.
Please what could be the problem?

It just started this like 2 months ago.
Thanks in advance.

when last did you service your transmission and the oil you used?

24th July
Noticed the oil usually shorts even before the service. I had a mech check the oil & converter seal (I think that was what he called it) last week and changed the seal. It has not been shorting since then but it didn't fix this issue.

Shit... My fear is coming to past cry
Ok. I will do as advised.
But first, I browsed online for fix to similar issue and I read some say to change alternator and some others saying shaft sensor. Another saying to check ECU.
Please, could it be any of these? I don't wanna change gear box and still face same issue... Gear box I hear it's almost 100k... Wedding is around the corner so that money na big money and I will be needing this ride for serious commuting. cry
