Nonsense!

In this same country, EFCC will pursue alleged yahoo boys to death without any evidence of any crime against them. The same people who have been enslaved by the politicians would rather defend their masters when they are about to be probed than defend their fellow youths who have been driven into various vices by these looting politicians.

The Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 makes it a crime to transact cash transactions above 5 million Naira. It is on this basis that Atiku’s son in law is being tried. It does not matter how you get the money. Once the cash is above 5 million, it can only be transacted through a bank. If it is transacted in cash, it becomes a crime
But the truth is that most people are found of carrying huge amounts above 15 million and nobody knows...

Mumu omokirikiri

How exactly did he know the contents of the Bullion van

The Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 (and the amendment to the Act in 2012) makes it a crime for any individual to accept or make any cash payment that exceeds ₦5 million.

Personal cash withdrawal isn't Cash Payment

Mumu omokirikiri thinks the scenario is like

EFCC officers: knock knock Budillion Gateman open up the gate

Gate man, DSS and Police details: welcome Mr EFCC

EFCC officers: Mumu Omokirikiri gave us a petition that a Bullion van drove into Budillion drive Ikoyi and entered your residence on the eve of a Presidential election

Gate man, DSS and Police details: so Mr EFCC and mumu omokirikiri what is the offense, are bullion vans unlawful ? Atleast mere Private fueling stations, hotels, WAEC, NECO all use Bullion security vans, and can you show us any evidence money was in the van or if any cash exceeding 5million was in the van as at that time

The Onus to prove that the contents of that Bullion van exceeded N5million will be on the petitioners, going by your logic. Until they can prove that a crime had been commited, their petition won't hold water.
Did you even read the content of the petitionhuh It is a call For EFCC to investigate the allegations label against him. I don't see why you people will started shivering on the mention of investigation. Or are you trying to say some people can commit crime and go scout freehuh

Justice must prevail if he is found wanting...

Simple English:

A cash payment is any payment in cash, for goods and services.

By ferrying in money into his compound on the eve of the Presidential elections, what was Tinubu doing?

Is his house a bank?

My dear, relax by playing ‘Back to Life, Back to Reality’ by Soul II Soul
You see, one thing you proponents of this bullion van saga haven't reasoned is that if truly Tinubu ferried in money in bullion vans on the eve of presidential elections, was he on the ballot for the election?
Was it not Buhari who was on the ballot for the presidential election?
If he actually used money from the bullion vans to induce voters, to whose credit was it? Was it not to Buhari's credit) favor?
Do you in your wildest imagination think Buhari was never aware of it, if truly money was in the bullion vans?
Do you also in your wildest imagination think Buhari would investigate/prosecute Tinubu for using the contents of the bullion vans to help his re-election bid?
Capital NO!
Was it not for similar reasons that Donald Trump, the hero of some of you people, continuously denied that Russia influenced the 2016 US elections in his favor, despite the fact that his security and intelligence chiefs stated so?

This petition on bullion vans is simply dead on arrival. No typical African politician/president will do something that will invalidate their presidency or political rule.
Let's use our precious time for things that will better our lives personally and not become obsessed with allegations that will not be prosecuted in the current political dispensation.

Anti Money Laundeering /Countering Financial Terrorism (AML /CFT) act 2011 does not make accepting or making cash deposit of N5million for individuals or N10million for a corporate body a crime. It only mandates the bank to report any such transaction to Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit as a suspiscious transaction.

Banks and other non bank financial institution render this returns weekly so chances are these bullion transaction has been reported and investigated already.

Signing a petition is as important as having the right basis for the petition.

A N100k transaction can be reported if in the eyes of the bank, it is an unusual transaction just like a N100mil transaction wont raise any red flags if the account is used to such huge amounts.
Tomorrow you will want to run abroad because Nigeria is npt working. But you lot are aiding the corruption due mainly yo tribal sentiments.

You can move any of your valuables in bullion vans... gold, jewelries, important documents etc.
And let's assume the vans contained cash, what law prohibits that?
Bullion van companies are like normal haulage company you can contract to move your money around, as a fuel station manager, bullion van comes once in a week to pick the week sales from the vault with Mobile police men, same applies to big eateries, malls, lounges and hotels, Churches etc. The owner of the company can decide to take his money home as there is no law that mandates you saving in banks.
There are lots of Business men that have hundreds of millions cash in their house.
Tinubu is definitely not a saints but the bullion van allegation is just petty.
