The Chairman of Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), Prof Itse Sagay, has warned those clamouring for jettisoning of rotation of presidency to rest such idea, as zoning is an arrangement that assuages the feelings of the people, and gives them the confidence that they have a role in the affairs of the country. “People should not be too clever because I’m seeing some cleverness in those who are now talking of competence. I would be more comfortable with them saying that, if the part of the country from which they do not come has spent eight years, then if they talk of competence I would take them very seriously. I see some of these talks of competence as a disguise for wanting perpetuation of power in one section of the country”, he stated.https://www.sunnewsonline.com/2023-there-are-plots-to-keep-presidency-in-the-north-prof-sagay/

There is a divide-and-rule system going on in the country where an individual is empowered from a particular region, town or state. This person then becomes an instrument of manipulation and evil dominion over the over the people.. |

One of the pillars on which APC came to power is corruption fight, then should people standing corruption trials actually be allowed to stand for election using the platform of the party, as is the case in Edo. Has your committee thought about this to advise the president on it? There are a thousand and one issues involving corruption in the country, some more urgent than others. So, for me, this is not one of the most urgent. There is no proof yet of the corruption, it is an allegation being investigated. The priority does not apply to this case as much as in other cases. We have more urgent matters that we are confronted with, which we are trying deal with. So corruption is graded now? Definitely. There are some acts of corruption, which are so enormous and outrageous that they need urgent attention compared to others that are just potential. Is it not on the same issue that Olisa Metu, former PDP spokesman was jailed; his was N400 million and this one is N700 million? ....e be like say they want to tell us another story again. |

Oga Sagay, as a constitutional lawyer, you should know that there is nothing constitutionally wrong with power being in the north in 2023. Since the greedy south west that have had presidency for eight years and VP for eight years by 2023 don't want to respect zoning and by extension micro zoning, then we should be ready all be ready to perpetuaate power in the north untill south west is cured of their greedy. Every region is now ready to build its own "POLITICAL BRIDGE". |

What is wrong with that? If the SW thinks it's okay for them to contest again after 8 years of Obasanjo then why should the North not contest? Especially the north east that has not tested it in almost 50 years |

This prof should stay one place and stop confusing the thunder that is set to strike him. Today he's singing the Fulani song, tomorrow it is hausas, next tomorrow his song changes to the rhythm of the yorubas. He needs to just stay one fucking place! |

Since power isn't given, fought for, let everybody fight for it. It's time to use the narrative of suffersticated region. |

This is no news nau. Do you guys think the power hungry North will relinquish power easily in 2023. The South are working alone party line, the North are working along individual line. If APC fields a Southerner and PDP fields a northerner as their presidential candidate, they not will vote for PDP. |

The hypocrisy of this man oozes stench. So Sagay is yet to fully understand the power play trend in this nation despite claiming to be politically conscious and being in political office? He thought he is dealing with humans not knowing they're power thirsty brutes. They may soon charge you for hate speech given this statement then your eye will be clear @ last. |

Northern people intentionally making there people to be in darkness, so that they won't know left from right. They will be giving them peanut, and be hailing them. |

baba say na plot. If the presidency will not go to the South East in 2023, then we will gladly hand it over to the North until we finally have sense down South. There can be no progress and nation building without equity and fairness. We must do what is right by every Nigerian. My name is Adebayo Muyiwa and I'm from Oyo State. The fvck Niggarr!! Power must come to the South. Then let the East slug it out with the West. I'm tired of the North clinging to power like its their birthright I'd vote a Yomi Osinbanjo or a Peter Obi over some midget from Kaduna anyday anytime everyday twice on weekdays. It is what is it. Weed invigorates you. It is life! |
