When upgrading Jamb to DE, you at liberty to choose any school you want.

The question you need to answer is that as at the time of upgrading your UTME to DE will Unilorin sales of post DE still be available?

I shall know that for one to be considered for admission via DE, you must also buy the school post DE form.

Once you can answer the question I posed above, then you can face your UI post UTME, then once JUPEB is good enough, you can upgrade to Unilorin.

Nevertheless, if by the time the upgrade is done, Unilorin sales of post DE might have been closed then it will be better you change to Unilorin and register for their post UTME, it will be easier to convince the school to treat your post UTME as post DE once the upgrade is done.

Thanks Bro.. The thing is,the jambites were told to switch to D.E later(after the release of the results) by that tym post ume form sales for DE would have closed since then..so what do you have to say about this? sorry for my questions

If u scored very high in jamb, i would advise u leave it and not u can convert it. Unilorin will only consider those that chose her as first choice in Jamb DE. U wont even be allowed to buy d post utme form if u chose her as second choice.

Past NYSC DG'S response to the financial complaints of Nigerian youths

The NYSC's Director Generals in recent times have encouraged Youth corpers to desist from relying solely on the monthly allowances from the Federal Government's reserve as they have proved minimal over the years owing to the incessant complaints from preceding corpers.
Other complaints that have gotten to the ears of Management Staff include the ill-luck of numerous Youth corpers during service, pinning down to the organization in question that they served at. Many have described their service year as a waste of time relating it to the ridiculous amount of money aquired during service.
Thus, Youth Corpers have been sensitised on the common reality of serving at a place lower than expectation and how they can tackle the dilemma. Public activists and Youth empowerment institutions have further encouraged Corpers to engage in convenient side hustles, preferably online based, if they are too displeased with the events at hand, because the Nigerian government has proved incompetent over the years, hence, cannot be relied upon.
Certain business Organisations have further displayed interests in the idea and given their full support through investment incentives and convenient online jobs offered on a platter of gold. Recharge And get Paid VTU Agency, Cryptocurrency institutions, and WordPress are prominent examples of companies bidding aspiring youths to invest in them with minimal funds and get rewards of incentives, job offers and international trips. A very notable effort at remedying the prospective damages of the Federal Government's laxity towards it's youth.
Thousands of Nigerian youths have enjoyed, and are still enjoying these incentives offered by online institutions such as the aforementioned.
National Youth Service Corpers and Nigerian youths in General are advised to invest in online companies of these nature with minimal funds, get registered and start up online based ventures, hence becoming their own enterpreneurs while making sure to always remember that they are truly the leaders of tommorow.
Miss. Ochem Ifeoma, the Team leader of Gift Sketches RAGP group gives words of wisdom to Nigerian Youths...
..... in quote; " To climb up the pedestal of wealth, place the first foot..

THIS MESSAGE IS NOT DIRECTED TO ONLY SERVICE CORPS MEMBERS, BUT NIGERIAN YOUTHS IN GENERAL.

I understand..my score is okay for MBBS but the problem is,I didn't pick UNILORIN with UME(skeptical of the admission process).I was told to change but I'm scared it won't reflect on time as the deadline for post UTME reg falls on Aug 31st

Wow!!
This thread is really old!!
Now i immagine people that passed through here when they were 18, 19 and are now practising in their 40s and 60s even before i got in in 2017.

3yrs after, i see people still studying for jamb, same route i took, same fear, same depression (pass jamb, fail post utme, write another year, pass jamb, pass post utme, do not meet cutoff, write another year, low jamb, pass post utme, given another course, write another year) years and years past, until you get in not knowing there is a greater deal ahead called MB which you won't meet until u've spent additional 3yrs after getting in...and if You fail, you start afresh from jamb.

Indeed, Medicine is deep, it is a Trap!!! You sell your ur mind, social life and happiness. Don't go into it if you don't have passion for it.

When you pass MB, the happiness you get Automatically Erase all ur pains in seconds...you become bold, proud, confident. all three in one person.
Your joy and fulfilment will become a thing forever...you will be respected all the days of your life.

If only you are strong enough to cross to the other side of life, then..take a walk through medicine.
Medicine is for the bold.
It is spiritual.
All hail any practising doctor.
Special salute to UNN graduates...you guys went through a lot.

Same thing happened to my younger sister and I sent a complaint to jamb at www.jamb.gov.ng/support they asked for her registration number and resolved it.

You should try that also. The complaint should be under the CAPS category

Pls don't be angry, how long did it take before they resolved ur sister's own?

If u are nt sure of unilorin leave it at UI... U have not written d exam yet so we dont really know d outcome... Plus i believe u have a greater chance of admission thru utme when compared to DE.

Udus will tell you their merit is 280, but if you believe that shii, then you're on a long journey to applied chemistry.
Truth is 287 is supposed to be enough, but the issue is that with 287, you may be the 10th on the list for MBBS from kogi and maybe God helps you only top 5 are admitted then you'd be left with no choice than to manage Agric, Edu etc.
I hate to tell people to change course, but except you're confident and you have terrestrial backings, I'm sorry to say your 287 may not be enough.
During the last admission process, only 4 kogi students were admitted via jamb, the rest made it in via Matric and I'm not sure their totality is up to 8. I can suggest BDS, Pharmacy, MLS, and Nursing. Those courses have a good number of Kogites with scores in this range and less of yours.
Hello boss, I have seen some of your comments here, I'm aspiring to study Medicine at UDUS, kindly drop your contact for God sake.
Thank you.

Good day house.
Given that OAU just got back its accreditation for Dentistry, I figured out that it might not be included in this year's admission, but on the flip side, since its been more than 5months ago, I feel it could have been added already, because I really want to change from pharmacy to Dentistry OAU, pls if anyone here has an idea about this, kindly help

Were u able to change to dentistry?

Hi greatest medics,

If you're an active Reddit user, you might have noticed that posts and discussions specifically relevant to the Nigerian medical system are hard to come by on Reddit. That is exactly why a new subreddit dedicated to us medics in this country has been created.

Join using the link below, if you're a medical student or aspirant in Nigeria; let's share ideas and motivate each other! If you've not registered on Reddit before, I advice you do so and make sure to join the community; you won't regret it. wink

Current doctors and other health professionals are also very much welcome! cheesy

Our hope is to have a few hundred or even up to a thousand members in a vibrant, active community. Where questions on study tips, tools, resources and more would be posted and answeers would be provided and discussed by a student body from different medical schools across the Country!

Check out these other subreddits below to have an idea of what I'm taking about.

It's just great to have other communities elsewhere. With enough members, Reddit can be much more engaging and it's easier to participate in ongoing conversations. Plus some people might be more active there.
