is this the only option?

With $100, you can open a dollar acct with any bank you already operate with. Easy to open so long you have 2 referees and utility bill to show your address(not more than 3mths)That is a better option.

We would be glad to help but also remember you have to read. Especially in your free time read this part 4
Do u have anyone inviting u to the uk or you guys want to stay in a hotel?
Who is sponsoring the trip?
Do u know ur mum’s salary?
U will need as many documents and proofs from ur school to identify that u are a student... even been in final year is a plus for u as it wud be assumed that in ur right senses u would not want to just throw away years of study like that.
Iintroduction letter from ur school, school receipts, school id card, school result sheets, any payment or any other paper evidence in ur name which further establishes the fact that u are a GENUINE student.
Ur mum’s documents wud be different .
Keep in mind dt even tho u want to travel together, u both wud fill separate visa forms, pay separate visa fees, upload documents on each person’s applications separately and also prove to the Eco that u are both genuine visitors.
Abeg dnt allow ur mum give any agent 200k . Pls.
They wud even end up worsening the matter

Please does anyone use their Nigerian naira card to pay their UK visa fees? I’m about to pay online but I’m worried it won’t work or the money will hang. Also will it make sense to include a copy of my US visa as supporting documents? I’ve not used it before so I didn’t select US as a place I’ve been to.

The US visa is not really a supporting document. But you can include it if you want.

U need more documents for urself so that ur claims of been a genuine student wont be trampled on.
Add more pls like school results, ur school identification card, school fees receipts, any other paper evidence bearing ur name from school etc
I say this cus there was a student in the earlier pages of this thread who submitted few docs to certify his studentship and tht caused part of the refusal as they claimed he was not a genuine student or soemthing alongside that line.
U say u re in final year, u should have enough evidence na
Ur mum’s salary is ok. Who is sponsoring the trip?
Also she needs to detemine how much she would write as personal expenses if she would sponsor ur trip as well because she has to have enough funds for you both.

Ur dad can sponsor one or both of u though.

The policy has to do with dollar denominated transactions initiated with Naira Mastercard.

Please check and confirm you are using your USD card, that should work except it is bank network sha.

Have u tried our normal local ATM cards? That's what I used to make payment during my application. Normal Zenith bank ATM card.

You know its not easy to get someone to give u his/her bank details. Its actually an unwise decision if the person agrees to give u. Except the person is family
So it will be easier for you to give the person your logon details and transfer the money to the person. He/she makes d payment for you and then u can later change your password to your account.
Just a suggestion though.

Any update on replacement vignette after submitting passport to VAC?

, I submitted my family passports(visas) on the 29th of July, 2020 for vignette extension . Till date, I've not gotten any information as to if the Vignettes extension has been granted as today's is the 20th working day(or 28 calender days ). No information yet. It's so worrisome.

Ok

Just put in documents that will convinced the ECO both of you are genuine visitors and will come back to naija.

What is your mum disposable income?

It's very easy with Naira Mastercard. When u get to d payment options, click on Paga payment option and it will direct u to a page where u can fill in ur card details. Try it and thank me later.

Yes that was before.
Now so many banks have a restriction on NAIRA MASTERCARD.
Any payment above 100usd will not go. Banks such as GTB, UBA, ECOBANK have this restriction in place at the moment.
