My sincerest and honest advise
Please stop applying to Germany from Nigeria
Stop wasting your money on applications

Now is the time to either face your life in Nigeria or move to other smaller European countries and then to Germany.
It will never get better from here
From the look of events the embassy cannot work this year.
The backlog next year will be so much there won't be enough dates.

Please and please stop wasting your money applying and end up using your admission letter to buy akara
God bless us all in our journey to success.

Which official position do you hold that qualifies you to give unsolicited advice?

You are a prospective student just like many of us here, and you are well aware of the mood around here.

It’ll be highly appreciated if you keep this negativity to yourself and let the hopefuls hold on to hope.

Cheers

Why do we Nigerians keep deceiving ourselves in the reality of things..the young man was been realistic and truthful to himself

This is almost September and winter semester kicks off October..

Going to Germany should not be seen as a Do or Die Affair...even when the reality is clearly written on the wall that we are no more needed..

Why do we Nigerians love giving ourselves false hopes...

Maybe you are waiting for Moses,Elijah or Jesus to come down from heaven bfor u bliv that German Embassy from Nigeria has shut down their doors to Nigerians...

If they really want us .....we would have known

Use your brain..that was why God gave it to us to reason..

I know a guy who's currently stuck and frustrated trying to retrieve back his €10,236 fintiba money..

He went to block his money without AD and now embassy are not even giving him listening ears to assist him get back his funds

I
How is it your business whether people choose to give themselves false hope or not.

If you’re tired of waiting, then go do you, no one is holding you, however, that doesn’t mean other people should follow suit.

It’s like trying to shove your opinion on others. And miss me with the statement: ‘Nigerians love giving themselves false hope’

Hope is infinite. The audacity of hope.

Be careful with throwing insults around. Cos I will surely match your energy.

Let's always be objective when we are hoping for a miracles to happen. From what happened in 2019 winter to almost 2020 summer that is March 2020 before the Coronavirus break, it will be hard for many people to make it to Germany this winter 2020 especially those in category B.
If the embassy open they will first deal with those that they have previously gave AM and those they gave AD before the break, then before thinking about new applicants. And this is August ending and from the news Nigeria government has postponed the resumption of international flight to a new date, hence putting all your hope in this year's winter can cause you depression so start thinking on alternatives. Thanks

My brother we have given our two cents on this issue I think we can rest it here now.

Na because my moniker don change I don tey for this thread since part 5

Nothing the embassy does is new to me. For people who want to keep feeding their hope from whatever can continue in all sincerity I wish them the best. I don't know what other sign they need to see that this people don't care about Nigerian students coming to Germany anymore but for those who have eyes I believe it's glaring enough at this point even .

Good evening fellas, if you are not in the jurisdiction of Abuja embassy and you apply for certification of documents, I will say you should have a ready address in those areas to back it up because those from lagos are not allowed in Abuja’s embassy.

Also I asked the lady about visa and she said ‘she doesn’t know why Lagos is still delaying, that the problem is from Lagos’

Also when going to certify your document, make sure you take your admission letter along where it was stated that you need to certify your document. Hold the original also for perusal.

In the kingdom where I belong anything is possible. In 2 Kings 7:1 the word of God came "that by this time tomorrow a measure of fine flour will be sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel" there was famine at that time, so it seemed humanly impossible just as it seems for category B students. I belong to a kingdom where a mighty crowd became stranded at the face of a mighty ocean, and suddenly the ocean parted into two and they walked through dry land. Do you still want me to talk about the Jesus whom you mentioned but do not know, how that he was going to cross over to Germany, sorry I mean to the other side and there was no appointment date, sorry I mean to there was a storm and he just got up and rebuked the wind by a word "peace be still"(Mark 4:35-39).. Brother God is able to do all things only if you believe!!!

I need a brother here or anyone who can look beyound seeking for appointment date to come by chance but who can stand in faith with me to see that it is all about the God factor. Do you know that it is written in Proverbs 21:1 that the heart of the German Consulate is in the hands of the Lord, He controls it like a flowing stream to wherever he wants it to flow to.. He will control their hearts to release dates to you in the mighty name of Jesus!!

And that is why Africa would continue to remain as backwards as it is and the German,Americans, Europeans would always appear superior to us and that's why we would keep dieing to go to their con3...

These people are die hard realist and they do their check and balance as if God does not exist..

Hwfar with us who have always affiliated everything with God

Are we developed... How can we build more churches and mosque and pay less attention to Human Development and start praying to God tomorrow for miracles against unemployment..

Since you have faith and believe in miracles, why don't u stay in Nigeria and believe it would be better than Germany.

Than killing yourself to go a developed country like Germany where they don't blame God for their own mistakes

Stay there and be quoting scriptures

This same mindset has turned Nigeria backwards. Instead of being objective in our thinking we are hoping for a miracle, nobody that doesn't not be in the powers of God or miracle but we have to be objective and plan ahead. The countries we are planning to go to, they did not relay on miracle, they plan and work towards miracle. If miracles work as we are taking it to be it means Nigeria could have been better than Dubai or London.

If you don’t have a benin republic immigration issued resident permit please do no bother going there for interview.... I just came back to Lagos from Cotonou... me and one other Nigerian boy was not even interviewed because we didn’t have it...

If you see how empty the visa section was, I wept cos they had so much space that no body was applying except me and the two Nigerian boys...

But here in Nigeria no dates... it’s a pity...
I pleaded with the VO to ask the Nigerian embassy to give exceptions to those who have letter of presence but he said he couldn’t because they work independently.... he checked my documents and said I was very prepared and in fact I was... but the permit was the only document I lacked...

Well I came back peacefully to wait for a miracle meanwhile I’ll expand my business as I wait...

sometimes I chose to be reticent or taciturn but some comments here are so abysmal and execrable. What sort of analogy is this...what has Miracle got to do with the economic situation of Nigeria? Whereas political leaders in developed countries are committed to solving their problems but ours have chosen to remain corrupt, so leave God out of it. The same God created the whole world and bequeathed all we needed to us... i just akin this to two people hearing same message and one chose to believe while the other does not and you can't blame God for the latter...

Guys please calm down...it's not only the German embassy in Nigeria that is not attending to students..even the German embassy in Egypt, Bangladesh and a few other things is still closed due to the covid 19 crises... school resumption for winter is not late because most classes are to start by November and almost all school's now allow online enrollment ...so let's wait until the international flight resumes and get to know the new announcement that will be made by the embassy
