So you mean the same military kanu ran away from and yorubas tagged him a coward, is the same military that tinubu ran away from and his people hail him as jagaban?

Kai you wicked. Why not let ndi afonja chest beat small, something you know they are all about. Too much talk and no action people.

One Nigeria is a scam though

I doubt we were ever one.

Though it's good we unite for common goal

Ojukwu waged war against Nigeria and declared a republic that lasted close to 3years but still came back from exile to contest for both the Senatorial and Presidential elections of the FGN and he ultimately became the godfather of Peter Obi/APGA. So?

I'm not big on politics but you don't believe in your country based on situations or conditions. That's not how patriotism works. If everything were good, there wouldn't even be any reason to bring up the subject of if you believe or not. It is only in such hard times that one really knows who believes in Nigeria and who doesn't and he said he didn't. If you say you don't believe in Nigeria when things aren't going your way and then turn around to believe in her when you get what you want, then you must understand the perspective of people who don't believe now because you were once in their shoes.

Anyway, people change. Everyone has the right to have a change of opinion and Tinubu isn't an exception. Just that this kind of statements is strong enough to affect one's political ambitions. And it's not our duty to defend these politicians. They don't care about us. Let's get logical and not emotional. Having a president of one's tribe doesn't put food on one's table. Let's judge by character. If Tinubu is a good man and Nigerians want him, cool. If federal character demands that an Easterner will rule, it's not enough to be from the East, let's the Easterners look for a reputable leader who has the interest of the people at heart. Let's move forward.

Me, I'd say I believe in Nigeria. But I guess I don't have the right to say that since I don't live in Nigeria.

#NoToTribalism

Which federal Character...you people are funny sha

Do you know the rate of political assassination that went down during that era? Kanu would have been dead a long time ago. Everybody was living in fear and afraid to speak except for a few like gani and co whom they kept hauling in and out of prison.

He begged to be an administrator, deputy administrator, and even commissioner sef in Lagos, but Abacha decided to use military men instead of civilians like IBB did and refused to make him a commissioner.
How many people really believe in the 'One Nigeria' scam the north has been using to hold this country in bondage?
One Nigeria, but different cutoff marks for Jamb and a quota system that exalts mediocrity over competence.
One Nigeria, but different penal codes for the South & for the North!
One Nigeria, but people that have murdered infants and raped defenseless pregnant women to death are pardoned and celebrated, while their victims are left in IDP camps to rot and be abused by camp officials.
Which record is this man setting straight now? If Ure not benefiting from the country there is no 'One Nigeria'. But if u and ur people are, then Nigeria is good & just and all others crying can go and die! Stupid reasoning!!

It is not the same...I know some people are too daft to know the difference.

And the reason his people hail him as Jagaban is the reason why you are here making incoherent statements and misrepresenting facts.

He is called Jagaban because of his perceived political relevance.

He as just one man is more politically relevant than the whole of Southeast.

All these people find it so easy to turn logic upside down.
So you guys can only believe in Nigeria when it benefits you and your friends.
So what do you expect of other Nigerians whose socioeconomic situation has not improved since the advent of democracy? Should they believe in Nigeria or not?

Using the words I DON'T BELIEVE IN ONE NIGERIA shouldn't ever be used by anyone who has the aspiration of ruling the country, I don't believe in anyone uses such words no matter the circumstances even my tribesmen that say so. A real leader should be futuristic. The current circumstances of Nigeria isn't enough to make anyone who dreams of leading this country to say they don't believe in her unity. The unity of the country is sacrosanct.

if Tinubu is the person Yoruba want to present as their candidate? I will rather line behind other reasonable candidate from other geopolitical zones

I need a leader that will touch my life directly or indirectly, even though I'm a pro Yoruba but that's for protection of my people not for any political gains

Tinubu candidacy will pollute already polluted political space of Nigeria

Yorubas can continue with their mockery of Igbos saying that Igbo will never produce the next President, but one thing I promise the Yorubas is that, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will never rule Nigeria dead or alive!!

Tinubu is a notorious political criminal, one of the most corrupt politician in the whole world. A brutal politician who deletes his fellow Yoruba political opponents like one deletes text on MS Word, such a wicked, callous, dangerous criminal will never become Nigeria's President.

Just imagine the effrontery, gullible Yorubas want to foist a thug, a criminal, a killer on Nigerians as President, kolework!!!

Go and check history of Nigeria, nobody like Tinubu has ever won the Presidential election, the man who was almost like Tinubu, Abiola won, did he ever live to rule

Yorubas think Hausa-Fulanis are stupid people just because they see them liter Lagos streets selling kunu, fura and polishing shoes. As illiterate as you think the Northern guys are, they all know that Tinubu is not electable outside Yoruba land.

Tinubu can only be a political godfather in Yoruba land. He is a criminal, a selfish political criminal, so forget it because packaging cannot work for his level of rot as a politician.

I will be glad if APC will hand over their ticket to criminal Tinubu and let them watch him humiliated nationwide at the polls.

Yoruba's best options since selfishness, greed, wickedness and hatred won't let them bury their selfish 2023 presidential ambition as a sacrifice to unite Nigeria, are Prof. Osinbajo, Akinwunmi Adesina, Seyi Makinde.

Tinubu is a political criminal who uses thugs and egberos to silence opposition to win election in Lagos, without his use of agberos and assassins and thugs to instill fear in the hearts of opposition, PDP would have taken over Lagos many years ago, and that thuggery politics he plays won't work outside Lagos state!!

Tinubu presidency is nothing but a hoax!

So would others not believe in one Nigeria when they are denied power.
