Ah.. This ur school is doing well o.. Congrats

teminhi:

Thanks.
When the admission came through, school reached out to me to meet with their rep in Nigeria to handle my SP application at no cost. They have been handling everything though I still wrote my SOP ( with their guidance) and I provided other supporting documents as required by them most of which are the same with what has been shared here.

I appreciate you and others who has contributed to my question. I was denied without biometric and I'm writing to the school for deferment by Monday.
Thanks

Anon123:

Have you deferred your admission to January. If no, thats why your school sent you that mail to find out if you were still interested in attending classes for that fall. Also your agent was wrong with his assumption. No school contacts the embassy for any reason concerning your visa status, they deal directly with you if they need updates concerning your visa

Your denial is linked with your sop, purpose of visit boils down to motivation and drive to why you want to study that course and why is it in canada and not in nigeria. Your gcms note will give you a better insight.

Your denial isn't linked to that. From wat you said, you can not register for a different course that's not the same course to what you applied with for the visa. Meaning if it was A program in Conestoga college. Throughout the duration of your visa process it must be that same program for that same college whixh is why I asked did you differ your admission.

Yes being denied a visa means you have to reapply if you want to reapply.

For the biometrics I heard sept is already full but were yiu denied a vis a without a biometrics if yes then yiu have to do it but if no, you dont need another biometrics.

Hi everyone, pls I have a question and am so sorry, my story is long.
Gurus in the house, pls help me.

I applied for study permit July 29 and I was denied yesterday.
So an agent told me that it was because I have registered for a course in my school and that the school have contacted the embassy to confirm if I have received my visa but since I dont have it, I was denied.
The reason why I was told this is because I received a message from my school that goes thus:

Dear Students,

Greetings from UR International!

Our record indicates that you have registered for the Fall 2020 term and have not yet provided us with your immigration documents. Please submit a copy of your valid Passport, Visa (if you are from a visa required country)/Study Permit, Letter of Introduction (if applicable) or Approval-in-principle letter to the UR International Office via email at international.studentservices@uregina.ca .

In order to continue with your Fall 2020 term registration, it is important to submit the aforementioned documents by Friday Wednesday, September 16, 2020 via email.

UR International Student Services is always here to assist and support our students. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at international.studentservices@uregina.ca

If you have already submitted your documents to our office, please disregard this email.

Thank you!

Kind regards,
UR International Team!

Hello Emmyinks,

You should request for your notes before reapplying. To the bolded, that's absolutely not in order. Meaning your school has bacome the new immigration body for Canada that process visas. The person should have done better in critical thinking. If possible, take charge of your next application.

All the best

Good morning my egbons and gurus and thanks to everyone for your contribution on this forum, i have gained alot.

Thanks also to those who encouraged me to apply for my study permit myself and not use agents, i have started oo and please expect plenty questions from me. smiley smiley smiley

Please i have the following questions thus;

1, Can i submit a copy of my salary account bank statement to support my application even though i don't have much funds in the account( very little amount in there), the essence of submission is just to show further proof i am in paid employment in receiving salary and for them to see the consistent inflow of salary payment ( My parents are sponsoring my tuition and fees). Will presenting the bank statement hurt my application. I also plan to present payslips for the last 6 months, my tax clearance certificate and print out of my pension statement. Your thoughts please?

2, Can i use my parents land documents agreement and Governors consent on the agreement ( like C of O) to support submission of my mum bank statement for proof of funds.

3, While filling the form IMM1294 ( Application for Study Permit Made Outside of Canada) The instructions says " to give details of our employment for the past 10 years" There was only section to fill three employments Is there any need to fill another IMM1294 as additional documents to fill the remaining two places i worked and if yes, how do i go about it considering my only + addition is the employment part?

4. I have to open up to you guys, i am looking for scholarship opportunity, at least something that can support as a rebate on my tuition expense in canada so i dont put much pressure on my parents I mailed my school and they replied saying " Unfortunately, there are currently no schorlarships available"

My gurus and egbons in the house, I will await your answers to my four enquiries above.

Have a blessed day ahead.

Hello Olasubomy,

Your personal BS would be more ideal if you have some savings there. There will be no need for your salary BS but your payslip and other proof for source of funds can be supporting documents to the personal BS. The pension BS is a good addition.

Any authenticated document by a verifiable private or government body is acceptable. It will provide a good support to your sponsor's BS. This demonstrate the level of establishment. However, do well to include evidence for personal owned properties if applicable.

The 10yrs work period is mostly a concern for paper application where an additional document can easily be filled and appended. Fill out the form to its 3yrs limit and include an updated CV especially if your work experience amounts to the 10yrs duration. I have never did this but you may give it a try by filling out a second IMM form and merging before upload using the premium version of Adobe Reader.

Global Affairs Canada is a government focused scholarship initiative for international students gained through most DLI in Canada. The DLI nominates the most competitive students or those who meets the minimum requirements. The good thing is that a beneficiary is now eligiible for a PGWP which was not so in the erstwhile. You may want to enquire again if this specific scholarship is open to them, the requirement (as all DLI also have theirs to be nominated), date of availability.

All the best

Hello Versashee,

Your own Luck defines the term. The oil oozes of anointing.

Please, if you can make the sacrifice and request for your Gcms notes, you will be helping hundreds of applicants here understand or study this new adopted process and style by the VOs.

If its not too much to ask, you can share your document list and sponsor type.

Is GCMS notes still necessary? I will drop the documentary i submitted.

I submitted LOE and SOP together with my app.

SOP talked about myself, the reason why i chose that school, that course, future ambition, past work, certifications, etc

while LOE focused on finances, a brief about my intentions, etc

I also stated that i didn't have travel history and how it shouldn't interfer with my decision to study i canada. I also don't have a house or any investments in Nigeria but i didn't talk about it i my LOE.
