@babadee.

I don't know if it's d traffic or d driving or d sun grin that makes me to drop fast....

If I take off to ibadan for just 3 days.. I go Com fresh back...

Last week tuesday or Wed evening coming from V. I heading to ikeja. We departed 5pm

We spent 3hrs 16 mins via d 3MB. For serious traffic. .... Got there around to nine.

End trip, I saw 4,750. embarassed Rider come dey say why d thing come high like dis.

I felt like woozing him. grin.

Seriously, there is need to take a break once and again .... in dis racket..
A lot of factors comes to play as to why drivers drop so fast and look exhausted.

We exhaust a lot of brainpower trying to stay focused behind the wheel daily, especially in this crazy Lagos where you not only have to drive for the person ahead of you but as much as two to three cars in front of you, behind you and sideways.

There’s a difference between driving to work and back AND driving round the clock as an e-hailing driver. Your body go hear am if you don’t take out time rest yourself and the tool; car.

Drawing my exit plan already, e remain small sad

I thought during the lock down, alot of drivers did not drive. They must have gotten enough rest.

I withdraw all my vehicles, for more than 3months. Everybody should go and rest and eat enough eba.

2months into withdrawing of vehicles, my drivers started calling, oga we want to drive.

Owners be warned, all this i lost weight, my waist they pain me, na exaggeration plus manipulation

You want to survive this country without putting enough effort. If aboki doing site work for 2000 naira a day, can convert that energy into uber, he will be more than happy.

Is not easy for everybody, managing your cars alone can be very hectic.

Sometimes i get super tired and frustrated doing it. I spent last week in court, if fixing comes up, i do it myself.

Any repairs i drive straight to ladipo get the parts come back and fix it. For the past 3 weeks i drove with uber to understand what the current market is.

B4 i start transport business, i traveled to America to work my ass off, i couldn't spend up to 2months, i run back to Nigeria, they will give you hip of plate to wash, you go wash tire.

Is better i put in enough efforts now that am young, is it when i am old i will start working hard? If i can't workhard to give my children the best, and plan my retirement when will i?

Hmm. This is actually thoughtful, a great insight.
I wish you the best sir

My broda, is not easy. If you go the place the labourers they assemble in the morning, them go rush u, so they can follow u to work and earn 2k.

To carry 9inch block go for decking is 10naira per one, 6inch 5naira.

You have to carry 1000 pcs of 9inch blocks to make 10k and you cant even carry it alone.

Make uber drivers go protest against Buhari.

With any job you do in life is work smart that is the key ..for years have been indirectly and directly teaching people ways to wrk smart...have given opportunities to people ,but many fail greed as blinded them ... it becomes a circle and this is naija we go survive mentality.....

Young men ,including me " make haste while young " you don't want to be struggling when you are in ur 50's ...wrk hard now ,stop the complain, think outside the box ..... I don't pity nobody now , me too have to get ready now for my retirement... whatever hustle you do now, use wisdom ,time is going......

Well at the end of day ,whether uber driver, labourers ,business men and women, bank worker etc .. Make we wrk smart for an easy retirement.. If they think job hard now ,what happens when they get old ..hustle now and plan...... A lot of these drivers are smiling to the bank ,some or most will not put money aside and save for raining day .. Most will born more children they can't afford to feed.. It becomes a circle of poverty that keeps going... That is why I don't pity anybody anymore ,my job as a business man is to provide you the necessary tools for you to do your job .. The rest is left to you meself I got my own problems ...

Some people come on this thread running their mouth about all the things they have, giving all the unsolicited advice and criticism in the world and belittling others... Forgetting that what they are running their mouth about is what other people wipe their butts with and yet still have respect for their fellow man.

This thread is for UBER DRIVERS and things that will benefit THEM. Pretty sure nothing stops someone from creating a thread for Uber partners, CEOs and entrepreneur gods where they can share opinions/advice from today till eternity and nobody will complain.
