Please I really don't want to waste another 75k. I have already booked for 26th Sept.

Generally, listening and reading is ok. I have joined a tutorial group for the writing.

Ejoo/Bikonu I need to max out on speaking.
I need one on one tutorials. Someone should help me. #Sos

Maybe you have been unlucky with examiners.
To most people, speaking is one of the easiest however you need to be confident to an extent to score 7.5 and above

Go to YouTube and search for ielts jay listening.
Also try to be able to speak for about 2 mins. Practice by recording your voice and speaking at length. Practice this with different speaking questions and cue cards. See the test as a professional chat, plan what works best for you on how to answer the topics when given a piece of paper. Try to cite examples if possible. You would ace it this time around. Good luck!

DLI: Designated Learning Institute. This is study route. Get admission to a dli. Afterwards get postgraduate work permit and continue your life till you can apply for PR

u better run for your life from adverts like that, they know that you dont know the meaning of DLI, thats why they are using that as a bait. Meanwhile, Meanwhile 80% of PR process that i know requires IELTS and others.

Update on my application!!!


I wrote IELTS in April 2019 (2nd attempt) and got LSWR 8.5,7.7,6.5,7.5. Writing got upgraded to 7.5 and crs came to 446. I came to realise the crs wouldn’t cut it So i targeted Alberta PnP with my NOC 1241.

In July 2019, i got EOI from them and submitted. I used my NySC experience, gathered all relevant documents (So i thought) and submitted. Rather than get an ADR to clarify my work experience, i got denied outrightly for not having up to 1yr work experience. This happened in October.

I recently clocked 3years work experience and i’ve updated my profile. CRS now at 471, hoping and praying the scores drop asap because i really don’t want to rewrite IELTS again.

Advice
People have used NySC in the past and gotten PR so if you do plan to use it, please ensure you include all Necessary evidence to back up employment And write an LOE. Attach bank statements showing salary pyments, attach allowie statements and nysc callup/posting letters (if you have to). Anything that would give your attending officer a clearer picture.

I used NYSC and got my PR no issues.All you mentioned are not necessary..LOE..payslips..bank statement(except its to satisfy POF requirement) etc

Anybody using NYSC must provide the reference letter on the school/company letter headed paper and MUST indicate the period worked as at least precisely 1 year or more...not less. Hours worked per week must also be stated and not less than 30hrs. Remuneration on a per month or per annum basis must be indicated on the letter. Responsibilities also must be clearly stated.
This should be fine. The letter is enough to stand on its own to justify your eligibility under the FSW stream...

If you had gotten the right counsel before your first submission you would not have been dismissed..

I called the woman and she said the cf2 text book isn’t ready still, someone told me she said till ending again. I will try and call her next week to know when their registration starts.

Dude, keep the faith alive. The Indians for some reason got the email address of the Prime Minister of Canada expressing their displeasure of the ongoing process... Perhaps, this can influence the process to happen a lil sooner.
