Luis Enrique: "When he [De Gea] makes a mistake everyone talks. When playing a game like this [vs Germany], we should say hello to him. It would be good if tomorrow he was on the cover of an important newspaper, or they published 'what a goalie we have'."

I don't think United will make a move for Upamecano
Regardless, the most important thing is a RW & LB.

@Expert17 did you just see what i was talking about. That feet. That reaction. That's world class. Hope you are learning one or two things. cheesy
Work best GK when you're talking abt feet.

But we need both his feet, brain and hands next season.

Did you see that save?? cheesy
New season = New opportunity.

He will surely start as no 1, but Henderson will surely give him the push to perform better.

DDG gave me world class performance btw 2012- 2018 that's why I don't see anything good in DDG of 2018-2020

I didn't watch their game. What did he do well, and what did he struggle with?

His case is one that i don't fully understand. The coaches must know something that we don't , cos he has not had enough opportunity IMO.

Expert my guy

DDG back to the National Team starting lineup and he dropped a man of the match performance.

What say you? grin
Great game.

Dean Henderson 5 years and 120k a week contract is not a deal for a 2nd choice GK, only performance like this can keep DDG in the team.

He sat a bit deep as a DM, but he did his Job quite impressive. He threw some beautiful long Balls, and made Brunosque Passes.

Other Assessments.........

I still don't understand the Levitt situation. He's always been class whenever I watched him play. He can throw those Pogba esque long passes comfortably and dictate play from deep. I really like Garner but I rate Levitt above him in development to be honest and I think they should be sent on loan..
paafin:
He should be Matic's replacement really, He played a little like Pirlo last night..

Good. It might be better for him to develop quietly without the hype. The only thing is players like him are often not value in the British game. The prefer dribbling and running midfielders.
Like i often say he reminds of Paul Scholes while Garner plays more like Carrick. They can both make it here if nurtured correctly, however the big elephant in the room is Mejbri.

Well, with Matic leaving in a few years alongside Mata and Lingard, I think we will have enough space in the team for them however, I'd like to see them out on loan this season.

Yeah. I would send Levitt, Garner, Laird on loan this season. Keep Mengi and Mejbri in the reserves.

Mejbri is skinny, he needs to add some Flesh and Muscles, otherwise he's gonna be easily bullied off the Ball.

Levitt and Garner need to go on loan, but I don't recommend to a Championship, rather to a Mid-Table Clubs.

Chong gonna come back stronger and better. So happy he secured the loan to a German Club. I trust he's gonna make use of the Opportunity.

Future is bright for United.

Full translation of the 6 minute video of Alexis Sanchez's interview...

"I'll talk a little about my experience in that club [mufc]. The first day I arrived [at mufc], I believe I had an agreement with City but football happens & the opportunity to go to mufc arrived. I payed attention and it was a beautiful opportunity. I liked the club a lot. Well at the end, I signed with United without being informed and aware of what is going on internally in the club at that moment. Then, my first day of training with my mates and coaches, I realized things you don't notice from the outside.

After I had my first training, I realized many things and I went home and I said to my family/agent: "Don't pass me the contract buddy. [to go back to Arsenal]". The laughed at me of course. At the time, Something didn't feel good or right. A month passed, I continued to have this feeling and I realized we are not a team. We are not together at that time. I am just telling you the experience I had. Journalists talked without knowing anything about what is going on inside a club. They annoy you and hurt you by saying it is all your fault this & that. They don't realize that the environment effect the players. If we, as a club & a team, are not together as a family & as one then it is going to effect any player. We were not United & it reflected on the field. It was not any one player's fault. It hurt me that I was not able to perform.

"The next season, the manager was changed and the current manager [Ole] came and I decided to talk to him. I told him: 'I need a break. I need to breathe and he was kind enough to give me that.' and when Inter came for me, I told him: 'I want to go' and he said: 'sure no problem at all and allowed me to take that opportunity.' Now I only have word of gratefulness to United the club to have given me the opportunity to wear their
shirt and represent them. It hurt me a lot to not be able to give them what they wanted. If the environment at the time when I arrived, more positive and more as a family, perhaps things would have been completely different or better. I was not happy at the environment at the time and the noise from outside [Journalists] was not helping. It was a period that I learned from as a player and a person.

Again, I am grateful for United for the opportunity to defend their colors. I am sad because I've always like to be at United and I wanted to win it all and make the fans happy"

Mejbri is 17 and is holding his own against 20-22 yr old men in the reserves, he will be alright. He is already 6 ft tall and will add the muscle organically as he matures over the next 2-3 years.

For Levitt, Laird and Garner Championship clubs might not be bad. The step up from reserves to EPL is huge, and if they struggle initially the sack averse EPL managers will be afraid to use them.
They need senior minutes more importantly than anything, and regular football in the Championship is better than occasional EPL football.

Never again will we have someone like Mourinho. Very divisive manager. That was how he almost divided RM

Yeah, but the reporter isn’t Tier-1. So, can only wait till Fabrizio Romano or some other trusted source reports it.
