Hello my people, I read earlier in the thread, about not using agent as much as possible for one's application. For me this is my first time and there are so much to know and note in the application process.

For instance, I have been on the search on getting an acceptance letter from Canadian DLI in Saskatchewan or Manitoba, which I have not gotten an headway. I studied Mech Engineering, and I am in search for a 2 years engineering related course or diploma in a Canadian DLI. How do I start up please? Your kind suggestions will be appreciated.

If you had a First Class or 2nd Class Upper, don't limit yourself to those 2-skools in those two province you mentioned, infact if its a Thesis-Based Masters you wanna go for, you are at liberty to apply to loads of universities in all CANADIAN Province so has to have lotz of options and widen your admission horizon.

If the uncle is related to you, then you are good to go. You will need a deed of ownership for the land.

The image below answers many questions concerning those Pakistanis who got AIPs and later got refusals. I wonder why IRCC would make such an error though.

This message was sent to the CIC accounts of some Pakistani applicants who had earlier gotten an AIP. So far, the issue seems restricted to only Pakistani applicants. I haven't seen persons from other nationalities with this issue.

YES! the institution you choose is greatly an asset,

There are institutions that are rarely or have never been mentioned here, Nigerians do like Sugar-Ants, Mr A applied to this school and got visa, Mr B applied to this school and got rejection, then that means that the school that has more rejections is worse than the other school.
If there are too many applications(Nigerians) for visa coming from a particular school, trust me rejections will increase on that school, Take for instance "Colleges", it is almost impossible to get a visa for study there , even if you pay 6 Years tuition fees.

Area/Location--- Nigerians also choose schools depending on location, Cheap place, place wey no too cold, place wey dem no dey speak french but English etc, From observation it hampers your approvals because it may rather become a territory.

School fees--- We choose schools depending on the fees, as cheap as it gets , it gets more applications, like i said earlier there are schools that have never been mentioned here, like school of 50,000CAD.....30k to 40k CAD,...... but the truth is that this schools will get you an approval easily , from strong convictions if you have evidence that you can pay this fees and sustain your self there .

This things is all about money and Your capacity, they are also worried about your plans but more interested in what you will be offering in Canada too, either way. this is a WIN-WIN situation for anyone heading to Canada but how about the people that are to decide if this happens , The VOs?

I just don't know where you guys get this information from..pls where is your source? Cos its feeding people with unverifiable information and it's scary. I will advise you go back to several threads backs and see PGD applicants getting approval. One notable person in that category is naijaforeigner. A 2.1 bsc graduate, traveled to canada for a PGD, graduated and working.

I have repeated this here severally, a visa approval is dependent on how your package your application and sop. Its also dependent on the visa officer whixh is why everybody needs God. Be you a masters with scholarship or not or a PGD with deep pockets or not, you can either get an approval or get denied. Your school or level of program doesnt add jack.

Pls ignore that bolded cos people keep feeding wrong information here. If thats the course you want to go for and its related to your bsc or experience, pls go ahead cos its your choice. No dy listen to everything people on nairaland says, pick what you need ignore the rest. A master degree holder just got denied in her gcms note and she just did her biometrica the same yesterday, na 2.1 she get o. So please trust yourself, your application and most importantly get God involved.

With the exception of full tuition waivers, all fully funded PhD students are expected to pay tuition from their funding. The calculation of $1750 pm doesn't apply to you. Remove your tuition of $7000 from the funding and calculate the rest as your living expenses. This would amount to $14,000. That amount is still within the expected range.

As for actually paying your tuition, most schools have the option of "deferring tuition" for award recipients. It works seamlessly and you'll be able to pay once the money is lodged in your student account by the department.

For study permit application, simply attach your proof of funding and your personal statement of account (don't worry too much if you don't have a lot of money in it). You'll be just fine.

But you only one person who had 2.1 and went to College? Do you know how many people apply to college from Nigeria alone? use this page as a guide , you will be surprised, then follow up with them one after the other and ask them about their application and how it went.

Most of them even backed out and have left NAIRALAND.

I wrote my experience down and you are countering with mere sentiments? do you know how many college applications i am personally aware of? they are not even on this page, even some people who live in Europe who came back to Nigeria Just to apply.... This Naija people dey tire sometimes.

My brother if 100 people Applied to College in Canada with 1st Class or 2.1 or 2.2, Tell anybody anywhere that i said it, Less than 10 People will get Approval, Come up with your content and i will waiting.

STOP making people throw their Monies away for nothing. If you want Send your application to the best Pastor to pray on it, if na College oo, Your application change is through the eye of the needle.

I have never asked anyone anywhere not to apply for Visa , I have only asked someone who is applying the third time to Quit because i saw the chances were not good, The Brother is in a better place as i write .

It depends on how long in the past you're referring to. The column(s) has always been so as way back as 2010 except I am also missing something.

I know you maybe adept to this but I will just state it anyway just for any referencing. The sponsor's POF should be merged with that of PA, same with other supporting documents in the Client Information column.

Referencing to schools, SENACA college particularly isn’t resting. I think people go in they because it’s affordable & I told someone this too
When choosing a school, go for a rare.
I know some schools which everyone who applied got a visa, I don’t know of any who got refusal but the tuition is quite high.

I will say like you, the institution you pick & what province it’s located plays a role in your visa acceptance / denial.

Nigerians do know what is called Statistics and Data, it means nothing to them.

Even as we speak, we don't know how many people are currently living in your area.

When ever you want to know if anything works , it is Statistics and the data available that people use.

How many people tried this , How many people did it work for , how many people failed in it?

It helps to show you if it is feasible, You asked a question.... Oya scroll back and Check everyone that wrote about their Approval from 2 years back till today on Nairaland and on this Thread, Check the schools they applied to and see if the College you are scampering for is enough to give you some hope.

In layman's language , How many of them is College?

Just go to google and search schools in areas of CANADA you will love to stay and study....
