In fact sef, are you a Xiaomi customer care agent?

Even if you are, people aren't 100% error-free

We need to be calming down
Genius.43 IF u reply any request from this guy again, me will PERSONALLY pick a quarrel with you.

You are on a Custom ROM. I wonder why someone will sell a phone with a custom ROM to someone who might be possibly not so much versed in that world.

To switch to official stable ROM, you will need a PC and download a Fastboot ROM to flash the phone.

But like I also said, consider changing your battery as well.

When I checked Mi.com to verify it showed me this. Please, do u have any idea how much a new battery costs?

Or, since he should already have a custom recovery, he can download the recovery rom and flash via TWRP.

Just turn on data and update, should not be more than 3 times depending on the major updates available.

This seem nice. How can I achieve this? or is there someone (maybe a gsm engineer) who can do this I'll pay for the service rendered. I live in Lagos. Thanks.

One important thing you need to note is that you shouldn't try any of these yet until you sort out the issue of the mi account otherwise, you may find yourself on a long thing

I bought the phone this way, I don't have a(n) Mi account. When I click on Mi account in the settings page, it redirects to the home screen that's why I feel flash might be the solution. But please you can correct me if I'm wrong about my supposed solution. Thanks.

This is just to certify authenticity, doesn't have anything to do with the tweaking which the previous user is solely responsible for.

I bought from Macbeyland for 5k minus delivery two Months ago.

People are wicked. Few months back I made a post on the thread store.

Someone contacted me about his RN7. A seller here sold a tweaked phone to him without signing out of his Mi account.

The buyer did a factory reset and gbam, the phone asked for mi password of the seller. On contacting the seller, the seller told him that he forgot the password and cannot find the sim he used in registering for mi account.

Luckily for him, the bootloader was unlocked. I had to help him flash an AOSP ROM o. Only way unless he gets a modified persist.img to flash.

Anyone cares to tell me what custom and global ROMs are? What benefits do they have over eachother and what is the reason they are named as they are?
Thank you!.

Too bad, even getting someone who has persist.img to flash will be very difficult
