I'm also going to correct your wrong assertions very quickly and will also keep it short.

First of all, God uses human's to help humans.

Secondly, you can't just pack your luggage and embark on a journey where you have zero informations about nor people to guide you, most of the stranded people loitering around in various parts of the world started like this and it ended badly.

Your learning curve overseas becomes lot more easier when you have valuable informations from those that have been there for a while and they can be friends, family members or even stranger's and I'm writing from my own personal experience which overruled your generalized assertions as if it is a universal norm.

Your plan is as good as dead if your plan is based on your own reasonings alone without the impute of those more knowledgeable than you on areas you may need help from.

Cheers.

You are missing the point here
I never said God does not use people to help you, you also made use of the word strangers, now ask yourself this does one put hope on strangers as a planning strategy to survive anywhere else outside their comfort lounge?
What I said up there is clear and simple, never put hope in man, cos if your whole hope is based on a person housing you cos i have seen this happen loads of times then you are going to learn the hard way, The person you hoped to house you might have restriction due to renting arrangement, might have a wife who does not want to share, might have no space, might have travelled, might be ill, might be illegal, loads of mights might even be squatting with a friend etc.

Do you know that Ghana has a health card for their citizens, which includes free medical care and medication?
Do you know that Ghana has free tuition from primary to secondary school, and they also feed everyday in school?
Ghana is a 1000% better than Nigeria. What is the use of a beautiful environment with nothing to offer your citizens?

Bro, I'm not in Nigeria at the moment but I do know that anything federal education is also as cheap as free so don't bring that as a point.

When I am talking about quality of life, you need to ask, what is the average salary for a Ghanaian graduate, and how much is the cost of renting a one bedroom apartment in Ghana? The average Ghanaian graduate can barely save a penny, and not that much is booming in terms of business, which is why they are always crying about foreigners in retail trade.

This is what matters most, not free education, but the ability of individuals to make a decent living and live a decent life. We may not appreciate Nigeria but truth is, in West Africa, we have the best economic opportunities.

Oga, u haven't answered my question. Pls give me specifics. Invest d money in importation of what?

Importation of products. you can find them at Alibaba.com. Nairaland is even filled numerous tutorials, starting from 2013. Search Nairaland and you see it.

What is d "good product that is innovative enough and not easily found in nearest shop in Nigeria"?

There is not one but many of them. The product you choose depend on the market or audience that you wish to target. For instance, some guys imported machine for pounding yams and sold so many of it. You know Nigerians love pounded yam a lot but many are not willing to go through the labourous process of making it.. so why not get a machine to do it?

Kids often dragged their parents phone with them.... so, why not get kids their own phone? i imported so many kids android gadget and sold them, making 8-10k profit per one. Imagine selling 100 of that in one month? It is a game of numbers.

Who are d guys that make it within a year? Can u explain how they did? Are u one of d guys? If not, y aren't u one of d guys?
Most of your question is filled with doubt bro. But before I import, I usually run a test. I do this by setting up ads and drive them to my landing page. if I get many optin, I will pause the ads and import the product.

Also spend time to learn how to set up landing pages, with instabuilder integrated.. Youtube is there to help... it is left for you to believe what is possible and what is not. I cant change your mind bro.

Later.

Well done for the lucid explanations. It seems you are a believer in Nigeria and not in "the abload (abroad)" like so many Nigerians, if so, I want to encourage you to keep the fire burning and the flag flying...together, we shall move Nigeria forward and not "the abroad"!

I would suggest Germany. The only caveat is the language you would need learn and you would have to come as a student. But without the language you can get a job as a student. In fact na jobs go dey rush you.

With what visa are you trying to enter a foreign country with precisely? Because to "hustle" legally you will need a work permit or permanent residency for the country you intend going to. To get a work permit for a western country is not easy at all talkless of permanent residency which can take years. It does not even matter how much money you currently have because that money will run out quick once you have to start paying rent, utility bills and groceries in your new country of residence.

Too many Nigerians I have noticed have enough money for airline ticket but do not have sufficient money to live relatively comfortable in the western world long enough until they can obtain either a work permit or permanent residency.

In addition, Nigerians are not aware that immigration policies are getting tougher and tougher each year. Even countries that are considered developing countries are making it extremely difficult for immigrants and potential immigrants how much more advanced countries.

I am not trying to discourage you. I am not saying you shouldn't migrate but what I am saying is be realistic. I see too many Nigerians stuck here abroad suffering. They couldn't get their papers (work permit, permanent residency permit, naturalized citizenship) as they had hoped for. They have no money to survive and before you know it, they start engaging in crime just to survive thereby soiling the already damaged reputation of Nigeria further. There is a reason why foreign missions in Nigeria make it so difficult for Nigerians to obtain a visa.

Many of you think that we are picking money on the streets here abroad but that's a fallacy. If you are able to get at least a work permit that will enable you to legally pick up employment in the country you are planning to migrate to, then by all means make the move. However, if you are thinking of coming on a tourist visa with the hope of overstaying, you will be making a big mistake.

Many of these Western countries are voting in leaders lately who are leaning towards conservative, right wing, anti-immigrant ideologies and don't want people from so-called "shithole" countries coming to their countries in search of the proverbial greener pastures except if you are perhaps a professional with skills being highly sought after in these advanced nations, example medical professionals for instance.

So think about all I have said considering that you are already married with a child. If you get stuck abroad for years on end, don't complain when another man starts taking care of your wife's sexual needs. After all, body no be firewood. Your child also needs you the father. Just saying.

- From a concerned foreign-born Nigerian residing legally in the diaspora

Picking money abroad makes me laugh. Have not seen 5euros on the street of Berlin since rather the day I lost 50euros I nearly cried because that is what FGN pays Npower guys per month

this is 2020 not 2005 or 1990. for you to go hustle legally you need a job offer and an employer sponsored visa( its not about your money but skill you have), for Canada if you are below 31 with masters, 3 years experience, high ielts scores you may qualify for express entry visa. don't fall into the trap of paying agent and they work visit visa for your and you get stranded and deported later. or you can study route.

You are the one getting it all twisted?

You can't hope on someone to house you rather you should discuss accommodation plan's with people and this is still during the planning stage.

Everything about your traveling should be resolved during the planning stage and not to start figuring things out after embarking on the trip.

When I said accommodation, I don't mean someone housing you in their homes rather they can have access to accommodations you can pay for either by sharing rent bills with people they know that are willing to accommodate other's in exchange for sharing of the bills and some can also have a spare room or basement to rent out to you.

The whole essence of this arrangement is to be closer to those you can easily get to learn more from since you are a complete stranger in a new society and all this has to be figured out during the planning stage while still in Nigeria.

Ask yourself this question -> Do you make plans by just hoping on people?

The answer is No but your plan's involves asking questions from more knowledgeable people and by so doing, you are also getting help because the answers recieved aids in the planning.

Hope you see it from a more broader and logical perspective and once again, not figuring out all these stuffs and just embark on a journey to a foreign land simply because you think you have money is definitely the exact recipe for failure and becoming stranded in a foreign land, you can only do such only if you are a tourist.

Cheers.

bro You dnt need anyone to check out accommodation for you if you are not going to hope on someone putting you at thiers. the internet is a great tool, one can simply book a hostel for a week or two, U don't even need to talk to any Human to do this. The major challenge any freshy gonna have abroad is accommodation cos no sane man cant think well without no roof ova their head. When it comes to work and black mkt hustling then you can holla at people. Trust me people will respond more to help request when you are not living with them than requesting to live with them or have them fix you a place to stay or arrange for a place to stay. Some relatives and friends will even switch off their phone or block your number, we have seen this happen over and over again. Even on NL, So for me anyone going abroad in the 1st instance google and book hostels to stay at least two weeks, add that money to your travels, they are the cheapest temp accommodation U can ever get! then from there hustle the rest so help you, God!

Coincidentally two of my siblings schooled in both of those countries (one in England, one in North Cyprus, and one in Poland) and I don't remember the return ticket being a requirement. Certainly they came home at will..I'll check again though.

Confirmed: No return ticket needed for the one who went to the UK. But it may depend on the length of your program.

I don't blame them... You know there is a way Nigeria will fork up your mind and you will NEVER believe what is possible out there. Anyway, it is good for others like us who want to hustle it out.

As for yours, make sure you test every time before you import anything. Pay for samples to be sent, have a feel of it before u order bulk.

Basically, I usually run a demo ads by setting up landing page for the product. After that, I will then pay facebook to run ads and drive traffic to my page. There is no way to know if people are interested in what you are offering except you run ads.

Some times, I get idea from other people's ads, especially those foreign dropshippers and I save their ads( I have built a huge archive with this method and I don't need to rack my brain to think about what to import or sell). I also have some unfinished landing pages too due to corona, one in particular is the drone market.

Even if the ads from these guys suggest good conversation, I usually run another ads to test the Nigerian market.

When I get some optin, say 5 to 6 with 24 hours, I will pause the ads and import it, though you can scout jiji too to get the product and sell to the demo ads optin, pending when your product arrive..

Video ads converts more for me. I usually get them from Youtube and use Camtasia to edit it a bit in order to suit my need.

It can be stressful because most Nigerians are wired differently and some can really frustrate you but at the same time, it is a game of numbers.

I got you! Thanks for the explanation.Wish you well and would join soon God willing. Still need to learn the ropes well so, when I get the funding source, I'd be in a better position not to make mistakes

When u are converting.. take regard the country conversion rate of the country

U used the conversion rate of USA to judge for the remaining countries
A naira to Aussie dollar is 250 naira. That’s more than enough for processing Aussie visa

And a naira to Canadian dollar is 270, and 320 black market

That can go a long way in processing the visa

Check well. The quoted amount is not correct. Official rate is upwards of 290
