Pls help, my hp pavillion cannot boot. When i tried loading wins 10, the hdd will not show up for partition so booting can't go further. Other laptops can see my hdd if swabbed . What can i do?. How much can i get motherboard for hp parvillion 6735s?

My laptop has been infected my ransomware and all my files has been encrypted by hacker I was told to send btc to them before it can be opened ..I don't have money to do that .. The battery is damaged and it's refusing to come on without a working battery. It wasn't always like this

Your question one needs troubleshooting.

First check the power settings on your laptop and reset it.

Secondly the hall switch on your laptop motherboard might be faulty, the switch put the laptop into sleep/ hibernation mode when you close the lead, there is a magnet around your screen that makes it to function with the hall switch, when the magnet get close to switch it drops the voltage.

Lastly, the screen itself might be faulty, so take it to a laptop technician close to you for proper diagnosis.

Like you said it takes longer time to boot up, it's not a DYI thing.

It takes cleaning the ME region of the bios or replacing some components in RAM or CPU section.
