B wellmax: Generating what revenue? Nonsense. They are all hanging on with their finger tips making deceptive promises of repentance at the stocks when they know the peons are enraged and ready to lynch them. That citadel of corruption called NNPC should be burnt to the ground and the ashes sold for a penny. They are absolutely worthless. They have done nothing foir Nigeria and caused nothing for Nigeria except pain and regret. 1 Like |

Privatization in Nigeria means selling govt property to friends and family. Let's see who will own majority shares in few years. Idiots on the corridors of power. |

DeClan01:Buhari n his bunch of dullards should just swallow their pride n accept Atiku's counsel to sell the refineries to competent private investors completely rather this nonsense idea that is bound to create issues tommorow, the fate if NITEL awaits the refineries if the government doesn't make haste n dispose them before Dangote n co comes up. 1 Like |

It's only in Nigeria that govt will hand over the running of such critical facilities to capitalists. Niger and Algeria govt fully run their refineries. And Algeria has 13 Giving NEPA to Discos should have thought us a lesson |

I HOPE THEY WILL NOT PRIVATISE THEM TO DANGOTE. Let Niger delta control their resources. Privatising it to a northerners will bring more problems. Let Niger delta have a stake in their own resources. |

Then the thought of privatisation was a very bad idea as it was sold to you by the present admin. Now its mentioned you are buying it. We need to look beyond all these and move forward. 1 Like |

ThatFairGuy1: Albeit, the sonnet the better they privatise refinery the better for us. The removal of subsidies should have long been a thing if the past. We would have been atleast 8 years past this today. We should learn how to support and not criticize every move by the govt. So that we can atleast move forward. 2 Likes 1 Share |

"He also explained that plans were underway to rehabilitate the 4 major refineries to start producing at maximum capacity" I hope government won't spend our money for the rehabilitation and then sell it's majority stake.. investors should bear the rehabilitation cost . otherwise it would be very suspicious.. rehabilitation that government failed to do all this while then suddenly they want to rehabilitate just before selling their majority stake.. it would mean that failure to fix the refineries has been deliberate all the while DeClan01: |
