The op did not put it in proper perspective. He said we will give it to an O&M to manage. We will partner with them to play a supervisory role.

O and M is Operate and Maintain.

This is different from privatization.

A good step.

But, they also have to privatise NNPC , allow marketers to set the price.of fuel,.and depot owners, and allow the transporters too to set their prices

Or the privatisation won't take

Which means an expansion of the subsidy regimen, which means more wasteage
