It's not a big deal, you don't even need a pc, just follow the steps below:
Download the rom from miui..com, then copy the rom into the internal memory of your device in a folder you should name downloaded_rom, then go to the updater app, tap the 3 dots on the top right of your screen, choose update package, the scroll down to the folder, 'downloaded_rom ', and tap on the rom. Update with begin automatically, don't stop it till it's completed, takes around 15 mins. Ensure you switch on data during the process.

Oga, you've put me in trouble. I downloaded the Wallpaper Carousel. After Installing it, I'm unable to use it. -No home screen App - And I can't even find it in my settings>>>>Lockscreen.

The problem might be from permission. I shared one Gcam sometime ago you might have to try it. But remember grant Gcam all permissions it asks for.

1. What procedure did you use in performing the reset?

2. Try restarting your device by long pressing the power button while the device is on till the device reboots.

If the above doesn't fix it, You'd probably have to flash the fastboot image or ROM again

Split screen isn't available for that device from what we gathered, you might have to try some third party apps
