The Gcam you downloaded, where did you download it from and is it for your device?

This is how my redmi 8a screen is severely damaged, I intend to buy a replacement from aliexpress but I need an advise. Should I buy the LCD with frame or just the LCD without frame would do?

Delete local backup from WhatsApp Databases folder.

Also if you are in plenty groups with alot of messages, go and delete all messages and stickers from that group.

If you have an SD Card move some files there.

16GB ROM have been rubbish for a long time now. Then when this phone came out those that I bought for I ensured they got the 32GB ROM Version

Someone posted MIUI 12 for Note 10 lite, am yet to receive it, been refreshing updater over 1 week now .

Has the update been suspended or i need to change to a particular region.

Current version is 11.0.8.0(QFNMIXM)

Xiaomi users, which xiaomi phone is good in video recording both for front and back camera? I use note 8 and I don't really like the output of the front and back camera videos.

You can as well try and get GCAM installed on your Redmi Note 8 if you're currently using just the stock camera, you should see a camera output improvement.

Hard truth is you need to upgrade your budget. Redmi note 8 is a good device for the money and the camera output is OK & you shouldn't be nick picking. If you want to dive into video for mobile, get an iPhone.

It's not a big deal, you don't even need a pc, just follow the steps below:
Download the rom from miui..com, then copy the rom into the internal memory of your device in a folder you should name downloaded_rom, then go to the updater app, tap the 3 dots on the top right of your screen, choose update package, the scroll down to the folder, 'downloaded_rom ', and tap on the rom. Update with begin automatically, don't stop it till it's completed, takes around 15 mins. Ensure you switch on data during the process.

I don't see the issue with the ads. Just simply go to Music App's settings and disable Recommendation.

What happened is a case of bad charging habit.

@Comradekpe, you'll need to calibrate your battery.

Use it to 0% and charge it while switched off from 0-100%.

Switch it on, use it till it drops 1% and plug it back till it gets to 100%.

Then you can use it normally.

PS: Make sure you don't use your phone while charging, especially when playing games. Also, after doing the above, it is ideal for your battery to get to 20-15% instead of allow it to get to 0% before charging.

Whenever your battery gets to 0% and you charge it to 100%, it'll reset the battery stat. This have effect on the battery charge cycle and health. That's why it's advisable to not allow your battery below 15% at most.
