For example, you can take one thing away, and measure responses and reactions.



Even though they know they are being watched, Big Brother can still manipulate the environment to measure whatever predictor variable he has chosen.

For example, Big Brother can take something away to see how the Housemates will respond and react? He can add something to the environment to see how they would respond and react.

Some weeks back, he asked the Housemates if they would choose immunity rather than allow the Housemates get meals for a week.

But you, how would you manipulate the environment?

Big Brother may still have to contend with low ecological validity. But in your own case, you won't even get anything remotely close to a near valid result.
