please MOD kindly read @justwise @Giselle237. On this thread there is alot of flights and ticketing discussions, even someone trying to sell a ticket on a thread that is meant to be for UK visa enquiries. Can a different thread be created for flights and ticketing, just so people with concerns around this subject can go on there. Also, after people get their visas on this thread then they can transition into the flight and ticketing thread as that would be the next step for them.

When people like myself (trying to make a visa application) come on this thread and its saturated with topics not related to UK visas it can become really annoying.

The problem with your suggestion is that if everyone that is done with the visa process migrates to the flight and ticket section , no one will remain to answer the visa enquires? People discussing flights and tickets on the forum should not dissuade anyone from glancing through for visa comments. Afterall the questions one ask will still be answered by someone that is done with the visa process and probably needing answers on how to book his flight .

I think the visa process, flights and immediate departure from Nigeria should be part of this thread. The other UK thread on nairaland is about life in the UK.

Oh, nice, glad they have started offering priority services again. Good luck, please let us know if you get a decision within the stipulated time frame for priority applications.

I know it doesn’t guarantee visa approval, I just want a decision quickly, I don’t intend to wait for 15 working days to get a reply when I know I can get the same decision in 5. I am sleepless already.

Check with the airline. Is it an air side transit or will the passenger pass through border control?

If you are staying air side and not passing through border control, some countries do not require you to have a transit visa. The much I know Turkey doesn't but I could be wrong as rules change quiet quickly, I suggest you contact the airline.

It depends on the airport your flight will use as transit. If it is Istanbul airport ,you don't need any turkey visa. It seems there is another connecting airport that requires Turkey visa. It depends on where in UK you are travelling to. Check for where your flight will land and the airport of the Turkey take off. Different airports means you will pass through their border check and thus you will need visa. Many people have testified here that Turkish airline does not need covid test. I spoke with their customer care in Lagos yesterday. He said I only need passport ,UK locator form and, facemask .

Families are encouraged to use Flexi appointment. I have tried the option but no date. What will happen if we all choose premium lounge with the same time? This option is available for Friday but not same with Flexi till maybe late December. Positive suggestion will do.
