That's to show you how wicked and devilish the heart of man can be....if they had money, the same idiot will say blood money, now that they hustle to make ends meet...the ewu still treat them with disdain...and to know that the person saying that may just be another tribal slowpoke or at most a deadbeat baffles me.

This is so condescending.

It is not a nice thing to say about people who work hard honestly to earn for their daily bread.

I knew I would see a pot-belly Lebanese man as a contractor before opening this thread- these guys are cashing out on Nigeria big time. But must all these politicians build an airport? what is the economic benefit to the state? I see all these as white elephant projects. How many planes will be landing in Abakiliki?

Maybe one per week....Lol cheesy

Who will use the airport at the end, the people that are selling gala on the major street in many cities in Nigeria.

That's mainly a cargo airport. It will boost state igr.

When Ebonyi state voted in this man, they didn't know they had signed Messi. He has won the political "ballon d'or" back to back since 2015. Citizens of states that their governor's achievement(s) is either to appear during children's day celebration, control traffic, sign MOU, share kerosene, share ludo, give yearly budgets botanical/scientific names, dethrone traditional rulers, eat roadside roasted corn, mould statue, stuff dollars, share cars, collect loans, sponsor pilgrimages etc should know that when they voted, they signed Yakubu Ayegbeni.

Spot on. Martin Elechi was the devil himself. Left the state in total shambles. Umahi has changed the game in Ebonyi state.

This Abakaliki governor and misplaced priorities. Ebonyi people are not empowered enough to need airport. Enugu airport is nearby. It looks like the airport will be used by herdsmen to freight cows into the state while Ebonyi people hawk gala around the vicinity.
hope madness is not running in ur family?

More than 90% of ebonyi people are illiterates and gala hawkers from Lagos to warri to Onitsha to PORT HARCOURT, etc. There's no need building what is not useful to an average Ebonyi man or woman. Most ebonyi people cannot even afford ordinary bus fare, how much more air ticket. The airport will be like desert if he ever complete it

Another white elephant project.

Every state wants an international airport. Wtf!!!!.

How many people from ebony state travel out everyday.

Clueless bleeps. They dont know that nigeria needs just 2 international airports or even 1 as we arent even a junction in the journey just a destination.

And.multiple smaller airports to connect all the states together.

Fucking clowns

Misplaced priorities.. one airport is enough to serve all the 5 SE states not up to Oyo state in size. There are better things to do with money.

You know nothing have u ever been to igboland before to see huge expanse of undeveloped lands everywhere begging for development? undecided
