A one- storey building which is still under construction, on Wednesday morning, collapsed at Azikiwe Road Aba before Asa Rd in Abia State, Igbere TV can authoritatively report.

IGBERE TV correspondent who visited the scene of the incident reports that that many people are still trapped while others that sustained serious injuries have been rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

An eyewitness who spoke with IGBERE TV correspondent said the ugly incident happened around 6: 00am and revealed that there are fears that some people trapped inside the building are dead.

If u investigate well, it could be one of the shops the govt is scattering everywhere as a priority instead of building roads and drainages. Go to all the major market in Aba and see how they are littering time bombs which they call shop.
That state is indeed cursed

Judging from the second pix, that building is already soaked and the engineer shouldn't have allowed any work to be going on there

It seems the ground floor was already occupied while the upper level was just been added.
