Leave the financial loss aspect, let's just talk about the lives they were lost because some of the owners of such buildings are party to the substandard work being carried out for them. You will hear hear some of them shouting and dictating how many head pan of sand and or stone should be added to one bag of cement for the mixture.

It's a sad situation. I personally supervised the construction of my house and made sure everything was done to the letter. No cutting corners. They molded the blocks at a rate of max 25 blocks to a bag of cement to avoid killing the strength of the blocks.

So pathetic! Rest in peace to the dead!

Gid bless you. The guys at the town planning are not even helping matters. There should be thorough check on both the carrying capacity of the land, soil and of course the materials. But no, they're only interested in money. When you dont settle them, they post their rubbish STOP WORK inscriptions on your site. Failed state!

Go to shopping centre and see how they're building shops on top of weaker structures
