I tap into this!

Please did you get medical request or AIP? What term did you apply for?

Hello,

Please did you get a medical request or AIP?

When did you apply and what term did you apply for?

TimAke:
Got this email from the VAC handling my application when I enquired about progress (AIP dropped a few days later). So it’s very possible they are waiting for travel restrictions to be lifted before passport request. #my opinion.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by JustMellow: 6:26pm On Sep 16, 2020
This is for international students going to or in their final year and studying in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Librador or Prince Edward Island province should try to register for the Atlantic Canada Study and Stay program. The application deadline is September 20th, 2020. See link below.

To those already been refused, I felt the pain but stay hopeful and to those still hoping, it will come soon.

All the best

Alot of things were wrong with my application.

Home ties - I applied with my hubby and kids

Career progression - I went for undergraduate admission instead of masters

Proof of fund - I used an uncle instead of my hubby.

These were the three major reasons.

But I will get it right by Gods grace, already applied for mastera admission.

On what grounds were you refused?

This is me right here. I began reasoning after I had already submitted. At one point in time, thought I should even redraw the Application.
But stood & got the straight Out rejection

Please I need your clarification. If your kids are America citizen then I don’t think you need to apply for them ( or so I thought). I was thinking you just need to apply for yourself only and then when when you get the visa, you just buy tickets for them with their American passports and when you get there it’s easy to legitimize their stay while you study

That's true, but there's a form where you state your family members that will be travelling with you. Even if they don't need Visa, you still need to declare that you will be travelling with them.

And even if I decide to lie and say I won't be travelling with them even though I plan to, I risk being turned back at the border.

Thank you for your advice/encouragement my dear brother Frank. I will surely do as advised. You have always been a wonderful and selfless person. God bless you forever.

Frankrobbn1:

I regret to hear your VISA was delayed. Having read through the GCMS note, the visa officer has grave concerns that you've no travel history that could count as a positive factor in their assessment. The bank statement you provided in support of your application has modest income with huge deposits into the account from a third party (no source of huge income). The visa officer also highlighted your poor and limited economic ties to Nigeria which can motivate your departure after studies. Given the above information, the visa officer is not satisfied that you're a bonafide student to Canada and that you will not have the funds to pursue you intended program in Canada and leave after the authorized period of stay.

Please put your yourself together as this is but a stepping stone towards your ladder of success. Get your bank statement properly accessed the second time, try to explain every lump sum deposits that came into the account towards the time of your application by providing verifiable evidence and proofs. Your LOE should do justice to your home ties to Canada by explaining to the visa officer that your intention is solely to pursue your intended program in Canada and depart after studies.

At the end, get a professional to review your application and vet your letters to be sure you've adequately overcome the concerns raised on your last application.

Your success story is right around the corner, NEVER GIVE UP!!.

It will end in praise.

Good evening everyone, please is there any implication if I choose to apply for Master’s and if I don’t get the study visa, I can then start the Express Entry Process?

At this point, no final decision has been taken on this application meaning you might still have a
slim chance of saving the application.
Seeing the vos comments, why no draft a letter defending all he has said while pointing his to evidence showing why he is wrong .If I were you I would try even though the chances are slim but its still a chance.

My 2kobo.
Bro, the bolded is wrong as the final decision has already been made and they are probably holding on the decision so as to not create any back logs (applicant reapplying before September 15) for themself. I believe almost everyone who failed eligibility and haven’t done their biometrics got the same first message on there GcMs note. I did too
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Miztafrank: 9:14pm On Sep 16, 2020
Ok thanks for response. I deferred my admission to September next year.

Sirromey:
There is nothing wrong with your application. The delay is as a result of covid-19 they stopped handling paper applications since march. I am in the same boat with you, I applied same day.. They have been some positive news the past week, some paper applicants from February have gotten response. If you haven't deferred to January I think you should.

Congratulations to everyone that has gotten approvals. Its really a breathe of fresh air .All things will work together for our good .

So i needed to ask ,is there anyone that has applied for visa and gotten it and the sponsor used was not related to them . My sponsor I want to use for my application ,she is a family friend. I just want to know the possibilities.

Yes you can, but I think you really don’t need to attach it if they are not going with you.
Just stating it should do.
