I saw the instruction below on the TLS site. I don't want to be lured into paying for prime time and later Flexi at the center.

If you are a family group and wish to attend Visa Application Centre at the same time, please select a FLEXI appointment for yourself and all members of your family group. With choosing a FLEXI appointment for each member, your appointments will be consolidated upon your arrival to the Centre and you will be able to apply at the same time. Please be aware that you will have to pay FLEXI appointment fee in Visa Application Centre for all applicants/members of your family group

I didn't chose flexi appointment seems it comes with extra charges
I chose same date but different timing
Family size of 3
My wife is the principal applicant 11am
My son 11am
Me 10am
Our appointment is on Thursday
I just hope all will be smooth

It depends on the airport your flight will use as transit. If it is Istanbul airport ,you don't need any turkey visa. It seems there is another connecting airport that requires Turkey visa. It depends on where in UK you are travelling to. Check for where your flight will land and the airport of the Turkey take off. Different airports means you will pass through their border check and thus you will need visa. Many people have testified here that Turkish airline does not need covid test. I spoke with their customer care in Lagos yesterday. He said I only need passport ,UK locator form and, facemask .

Please how will one get the UK locator form for one travelling with Turkish airline?

I didn't see the UK Locator form in Turkish Airline's website

Thanks

I was in the same dilemma earlier. My family just went at the same time and they were attended to. We couldn't pay for Flexi appointment online and they weren't asked to pay for it at the VAC.

Families are encouraged to use Flexi appointment. I have tried the option but no date. What will happen if we all choose premium lounge with the same time? This option is available for Friday but not same with Flexi till maybe late December. Positive suggestion will do.

Book individually. Try and book everyone on the same time. During submission/biometrics tell them it's a family application.

Exactly my worries. So one will pay for a prime time appointment and as well pay for Flexi?

You don't need to pay for flexi...choose the same day and tell them you are a family on that day. Your applications will be attended together

No. Replacement visas are for those who are going to study, work or join family

Does that mean one needs to reapply next year after the Pandemic subsides?

We had a programme to attend in April and Visa was issued on 25th March, just before the lockdown o 31st March. I am even pushing for my mom to go as the visa would expire on 2nd October. In view of the high cost of ticket and traveling purpose is not an emergency, I'm thinking of just allowing the visa to expire and reapply next year.

Is there a way they can be mailed and circumstances explained?

Asked the question, but got banned by antispambot. It seems there is something wrong, as other sections of Nairaland is experiencing samething with people getting banned by the antispambot

Good morning everyone.

Please is there anyone who did 2nd interview from 1st to 9th of September, 2020 and has gotten response as at today?

I wonder why it's taking this long and aside from the email for second interview, I have not heard back from UKVI.

I was gonna provide an answer to this question, but then I thought of a second opinion here (for other people's experiences)

Must you travel to the UK as a visitor on the date quoted on your application form, or can you go a couple of days prior as long as the visa is valid for the dates? Eg, if one (2nd time traveller) quoted Oct 3 as planned departure date and visa has validity from Sept 27, can they travel Sept 28?

Remember, application form usually asks for 'planned' departure and return dates.

I doesn't matter as long as your visa is still valid
