In summary;

Edo South
Obaseki 2LGAs
Ize-Iyamu 2LGAs
Too close to call 1LGA
Battleground 1LGA

Lets assume is a split

EDO Central
Obaseki 5LGAs

EDO North
Ize-Iyamu 6LGAs

This means Ize-Iyamu may win with 1 LGA.

Hmmmm
Check well! Edo south has 7 LGs
Obaseki 2LGAs
Ize-Iyamu 3LGAs
Too close to call 1LGA
Battleground 1LGA
Ize-Iyamu may win with 2lgs

People are forgetting that Obaseki has friends in high places in APC ... and Oshiomole has enemies with in the APC Governors forum...

Most core northern APC Governors are supporting Obaseki...

The biggest undoing for APC in Benin is that Oshiomole made a lot of Enemies in APC.

So if it’s federal might, Make Oshiomole forget am.... The election is 50/50 , no federal might advantage for APC in this election

Well, on Sunday sha....We celebrate the winner.

First let me say that I want POI to win maybe because I hate ungrateful human beings.

Secondly, why I feel Obaseki might loose is because I doubt the sincerity of most of his supporters. Do they really believe in him or are they supporting him because of what they are presently getting from him. A typical example is Buhari and Atiku supporters in the North. While Buhari supporters are genuine and fanatical about him, Atiku's supporters are just looking for what they will get from him so that makes difference. I feel most of Obaseki supporters were bought over and a such can easily dissapoint at very crucial moments unlike those who are rooting for Ize-Iyamu.

Finally did you notice that all the court cases instituted against Ize-Iyamu candidature were frustrated such that no hearing on the substantive issues were entertained before the election unlike the case of Rivers, Bayelsa & Zamfara where the trial court gave one form of order or rulling before the election? For me this strange and points to something that will become clearer in the coming days.

Buhari scenario doesn't play out here. Asides the Yar'aduas, no Northerner alive can defeat Buhari fair & free.
If you like conduct the election in Ghana.

Oshiomhole was backed by the Igbinedions in 2012, howbeit, you and I know he has never bypassed any opportunity to hit at the latter. Will you call him (un)grateful?

There are no Saints here.

The (in)gratitude has become the nature of our Politics, partly because the "kingmakers" intend to put on the cloak of "kingmakers and Kings".

Till today, none of them have really told us what the MAIN problem is!

For those supporting Obaseki/POI, I cannot say.
Only those on ground in Edo can.

For the Court cases, I don't think it is a factor because every Judge is extremely careful. Even the Certificate cases against Shaibu/Obaseki/Gani have been on hold, but I know they will resume immediately after the elections have been conducted.

Edo election is always a near-perfect election, irrespective the threats and so on, I don't think much will change.

I wish them the best of luck.

Always be grateful to your benefactors. Do you know what it means for smb to absorb all insults and took it upon himself to ensure you became governor. Tell me what kind of disagreement will make you turn your back to him to the extent of planning his removal as national chairman of a major political party.
If he wins, then there is no repercussion for political betrayal.

The truth is I have done my analysis of Obaseki supporters, 80% of them are what I will refer to as audio voters, social media voters you know, they are very outspoken on social media and from that 80%, about 40-50% of them are basically in diaspora. They don’t have PVC and they are not in Nigeria, so they are not going to vote, they have all the resources to be making the noise, they have all the time, all the free Wi-Fi, to be making all the noise on social media and you think Edo state is an Eldorado and everybody is one way for Obaseki, no. And then, the remaining 30-40% are also what I call internal diaspora. They are not based in Edo state, they are in Lagos, Portharcourt, Abuja.

.APC will use their rigging machine to win the election...if Wike the wicked like make he die on top of Edo election ... .he will be disgraced out of the Edo state. ..

Obaseki is a betrayal....he shouldn't be given the second chance. ...

Nobody knows obaseki in 2016...he was helped to become Edo State governor and he jettisoned the man that single-handed brought him out from the crowd and helped him to become somebody.
.he called the man bad names and planned to kill the man...people are bad and are wicked...gods are seriously wise....
He will reap what he has sown...

It is Obaseki (not PDP), Oshiomhole (with some renegade APC members) & Ize-Iyamu (who has some PDP following as well).

Still in Auchi. Shuaibu was disgraced and humiliated yesterday in his ward. He wanted to show his street credibility like Oshiohmole but was disgraced. The people were shouting Philip Ole!!!!!! My own be say no IPOB clown should come online tomorrow and shout rigging. Obagone has no political structure in Edo state, he lost his polling unit, ward and local government to Ize Iyamu, in fact, all his senatorial and House of Reprenstative candidates lost to Ize Iyamu in the last general election. The combinations of Oshobaba and Ize Iyamu will be too strong for Obagone.
Those of you in Edo north can vote for APC but I want to tell you that Edo south are firmly in support of GO and with Edo central vote too, good bye to Oshiomhole and his cohorts.

Don't mind that guy at all, the 3 metropolitans and cosmopolitans LGA in Edo (Oredo, Ikpoba Okha and Egor) are behind Obaseki, the 2 Ovias likely to be 50/50, although Orhionmwon & Uhunwonde likely to vote APC but no problem because there are d smallest LGA in edo south interms of population. in Edo central, PDP will win because it is there stronghold, Edo north can go d way of APC but at the end Obaseki will win the election.
