First of all, without accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord God and Saviour, your name can't be written in the book of life..

The question I would ask; Have You Accept Jesus Christ As The Lord And Saviour, And Been Born Of His Spirit?

Even we as believers can't see our names in the book of life, except by divine intervention for a purpose. We are not believing Christ with our five sensoral organs i.e not by sight or feelings or thought or emotions but by Faith of Jesus Christ through heartfelt believe with bold confession i.e witnessing and testimony..

It is NOT our duty to know or ask if our names are written in the books, for we are NEITHER angels NOR spirits who takes heavenly record.. We should stop wasting God's time and moment of opportunity to preach by asking such question.

The major focus of the gospel is the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.. His name is Jesus Christ and He's the only One that instructs our names be written. Without, Him it is impossible.

We are Israelites, our ancestors journey here thousands years ago and due to harsh hot weather... Evolution happens to their skin to adapt to their new environment.

All I ask is your mercy and grace. if you grant me these two, nothing more can I ask for.

Book of life is figure of speech. There's no literal book that has/gives life.
Life is the keyword.
Do you have life (Zoe) should be the question.
Hell is called the place of the dead, the lifeless. Those void of life (life of God) end up in hell.

So asking "is your name in the book of life" is talking in parables.

To be clear, say, do you have life? He that hath the son hath life, he that hath not the Son hath not life. Do you have the Son? Do you believe in the Son?
