i get one question concerning the pulse charger....my battery no dey ever full with the pulse charger but when i connect my suouer 10amp charger e go tell me battery full, but the pulse charger go dey 14.4V 1.7amp and it was on 1.7amp when i came back from work yesterday till i left for work at 6am today, it didnt overcharge ,battery wasnt hot, charger was cool, but my car battery was about 14.4v 0.2amp when i charged it, dont get me wrong ,my battery is fine but its what i have been observing, the momment i switch the charger to manual mode and set the knob to 16V 3amp or below 3amp for 45mins to max 1hr.my 200ah battery amp falls to 0.5amp.

See project topic . Well I can't really answer Ur questions since am still experimenting myself.

I still have a 200ah battery hooked up for close to a week now and it's still charging, though I attributed it to the fluctuating power availability, but unlike Ur battery this one is actually getting warm, so am almost tempted to say it has a shorter cell.

But with the readings which is still above 2amps it hasn't settled down to the desulphation point which is the last stage on the display on the right (Ceejay80s u might not see this with our model since it's in Chinese).

So for now am watching and waiting, fingers crossed...

Remember I talked about having 4 12v 100ah and 1 200ah batteries that seem to have packed up?

Well, I added bought and added acid (from battey charger) to one of the 100ah batteries as a test but it still didn't charge. Eventually I gave this particular battery and the 200ah battery to a local battery charger for 3-4 days.

Now, the 200ah does not stop charging. It can charge for 7 hours straight nonstop. I am using a 40a Souer smart charger.

I think the battery I added acid to has gone bad since it can no longer hold any charge.

Any recommendations?

Meanwhile, I want to start upgrading my system bit by bit to 100% solar. Do standalone inverters have any extra benefits than the hybrid types?

I am aware hybrids remove the need for CC. Does this come with a downside?

Brighton 12v 1kva Inverter, comes with a 20a fast charger. I could trade u with Ur iPad Mini. If u're not interested then I'll give u a price

Modified: Be mindful that the inverter is set at 50% DoD to protect Ur battery that means it cuts off at 12v while Ur souer inverter can drain till 10.5v, so u might stay longer on the souer than the psw inverter.

The only advantage I know is low self consumption, but the disadvantage is that they do not have a good current surge protection.

But last last the choice is yours...

Guys, please who sells the two items in the attached picture?

The first one with light is a voltmeter. It has been permanently attached to the battery.

The second one is clamp also permanently attached to the inverter line.

I also need a Wattmeter to use in checking the actual power consumption of my devices.

I bought them used but lasted for about 3 yrs.

Can the battery charger you guys bought revive the battery?

Ceejay,saint2ace,abeg make una help me put mouth for this matter oo,my charger arrived on Monday,jumai sent message that a deliveryman with his phone number, will deliver it to me,deliveryman I no see,call his number no picking,he later call me with a different number,that's bike is faulty,since that Monday he is not picking my call, well I have decided to go igando their picking point to collect my item,my t.p going there will cost me up to 1k,and have already paid them for delivery.

Send an email to Jumia customer service and state what happened for future evidence, secondly u can decide to go to the pickup centre and collect it urselves not minding the amount, this is the main reason I do pickup and not delivery.

Lastly, u can call CC hear what they have to say and then chill, but Jumia CC number is a premium number, so the charges are expensive except u call the landline... All the best
