Having to go to bed and wake up with a buzz in head each day is no lies disturbing and frustating. pls tell me, how do you cope with this? Mine started during the treatment of an ear infection I suffered from in June 2020 which has gone but the ringing has refused to go. From what I have read about it, it might be staying. if you have suffered from it or still suffering from it, can you please give some advice on how to cope with it and not let it weigh me down?

Mine reduced after I was treated of malaria.
Thereafter, I saw an Ent doctor and some drugs were prescribed.
I feel very okay now...I hardly hear it and even when I do it's usually very low, almost inaudible when not paying attention.
I know it can be very discomforting....I sincerely pray you getting your healing soonest.

Amen and thanks for replying, so your ear started ringing when you had malaria? or the ENT doctor was able to detect another underlying cause? i know how happy you will feel when the sound went down, I'm planning to see an ENT doc soon too

Actually treating of malaria was just a trial thing...I was in dire need of solution because I had exams that period.
All I can remember is that I had severe catarrh that lasted for about three months before the ringing started. I also noticed my ear was clogged ... like it felt heavy.

The ENT doctor felt that I was reacting to an allergy,as such on each appointment I was given different drugs.

To say I was happy is an understatement, I was more than happy.

It's happening to me, I avoid very quiet situations, I play music before sleeping, that way I won't hear it, sometimes I just focus on the ringing till I drift away

It started around April, I thought it was a result of too much earpiece usage, I stopped but it continued till I decided to go online and check the cause. I don't let it bother me

I think not letting it bother me might just be the best thing to do but it is still advisable to see an ENT doctor to know how you can manage it and do things that won't make it worse
