Sorry Boss, I didn't know it rained last night too till I drove out this morning. But my area never bad reach your side... grin

Meanwhile guys, here's my challenge. So my car engine (COROLLA 2006) got too bad about last month and I opted for changing it as against "ringing". Finally gathered the money to buy it this week.

However, one of my major challenges then apart from the 'usual' oil shortening, smoking and noise it was making was that if the car is parked anything more than 30minutes, I can't just start the car and drive away immediately. Once I start the car, it starts JERKING slightly after about 30seconds, then after like 5minutes it 'BALANCES' then I can drive away. If I try loading before the 5minutes elapses or before it balances, the car goes off and then I start the process again.

The thing is, I thought if the engine is changed the issue would be resolved but I thought wrong. The issue still persists, minus the noise and smoking. They tried scanning but the codes coming were P0016, 0300, 0310 (can't remember exactly).

Please if there's anyone with experience handling this, kindly assist.

I hope you get the necessary help soon. I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you. This too shall pass boss.

By the way, after they cleared the codes did they rescan in order to get the major/current codes? Some of the codes in the picture provided are triggered and stored codes.

Had a similar multiple and random misfire code with all cylinders throwing a misfire tantrum. Another similar issue I had that you also have is the camshaft error code. Not saying that my cars problem is same as yours, but you could ask your mech to service your oil control valve solenoid as it responsible for the smooth operation of your camshaft.

Thing is Moove didn't carry a survey amongst d drivers to suggest a car dt fits into the demands socio / infrastructural state of Lagos...

Look @ a car dt hasn't worked for a year, like a kabu-kabu.

So I got a trip from kpako to ikorodu this morning around 10am or so on a 1.7 surge so I went ahead with it.. ended trip and surprisingly got a trip from there (around holy Gabriel temple)to bariga..
We spent almost 2 hours on that trip.
Ended it and the girl who her boyfriend ordered for us telling me the fare cannot be 3350(fare was actually 3850 but for discount) , that she takes that trip and it’s never close to that amount. I told her to take it with bolt only for the stupid bf to call and was asking me for fare review. That I manipulated the gps..
I changed it for the guy and he sent me this.
Telling me that my mates are stealing good money and I am stealing 1ks... e pain me. But I no blame am.
I go sha report am.

Bolt riders and headache are cousins.
Brotherly you don't need to allow such bad energy people to deter you from what you know is right. Most times when people see they can't get to you they try to use some sensitive words like this to get to your mind and when I'm faced with such challenges I tell myself this "you're not the reason I'm out for work" so get thy behind me!.

Similar thing happened to me today as well. From Off Ago Palace way to Ajegunle. Trip was on a 2.0x surge(Uber), I never knew the lady was gonna blow out like an oil well when the trip ended, N3700. Madam was mad... Said almost every word that entered her mind and all I was saying was "sorry ma'am" till I got my money and drove off. The funny thing is, her husband was d one that requested d ride and gave her d fare, she called d hubby ordering him to call me and find out...

So bro, just ignore, delete message and m9ve to the next request. No be them carry you come outside.

Truth of the matter is any time there is surge or you have many orders, there will be cases like this. Also watch out for low rating that same day. I experienced mine too yesterday. Bad energy stay far away from me. grin I move on no matter what.

I think I’ll start emulating this. Anytime I take an Uber ride, I’ll give the drivers 1 or 2 stars, except your car is extremely neat and you play my kind of music, then you get 3 stars.

You see that too?
And some drivers will be shouting that riders are bad and they give less rating.
Now if a rider comes here and see that this is what drivers do, you know what they will start doing too right? Who will it affect the most?

Some drivers sha.

I struggle to know why drivers belive that rating a rider low helps to boast their ratings.

Since this year, I've only rated 2 riders below 5star and it was because of extreme misunderstanding between us.
Yet my rating is presently 4.95star.

I'm pretty sure that those of you that rate riders low can't boast of ratings above 4.88.

Please rate your riders well.
Whatever you give them can't ever affect the effect of theirs on your rating.

I’ve heard some drivers say they reject trips from riders with low rating because they no want wahala. So if drivers keep dashing out 1 and 2 stars to riders for no justifiable reason, such riders might have a difficult time getting their requests honored. He fit dey go interview now, him no see ride, his potential means of livelihood has been compromised. grin cool

Its d app companies who don't put priority on the safety of their tools/drivers.

I was expecting them to ask for a verified Nigerian ID before allowing a rider to book a ride.

Seen some stupid names of riders like " fish" "Mr" on Bolt severally.

Even LASG disappointed me on this with their E hailing regulations, the focus was just on how to raise money.. embarassedHow can you miss such a very important part of the regulation, safety of the driver?

Shouldn't there be a system to verify the authenticity of a rider.

What about riders that rate drivers low just cos of the fare?

This has happened to me a couple of tyms, I just marvel at such riders, y force urself to use Uber/Bolt, when you could jump buses

I mean as a rider, you have an idea of the fare estimates before ordering, if you don't hv much money on you as a rider, there are always alternatives, why put urself under a burden n transfer your anger on d driver.

There are some Uber drivers your 1 or 2 stars can't affect.
When you successfully complete over 5,000 trips you are immune to yeye ratings. It's an unwritten rule grin

@bolded

That's the right thing. Verification so as to get the info of the rider incase of things like that violence.
