Thank you. This is my first interview. And first application to any school in the UK. Although, I have a long gap of between BSc 2010 and work. I have been working.

Normally, the call will be to clarify information that the ECO is unclear about and expect the questions to come from any and every angle possible. Just be calm and answer the questions without contradicting any information contained on your application or divulged in your previous interview if you had any.

Just got a call from my sis. visa approved.

Did her biometric on the 9th of september. She's not happy she was not called for interview because she took days off to prepare for it. She was "very prepared" according to her. (person wey dey ment) Imagine? SMH

Please do not put what they don't ask for.
Work papers are needed for visit visas, not study.
During the interview, you would be asked about your job..so you can state it there.
follow the document list on the checklist after submission of your visa application
the only additional things people include are
1) change of name for married women
2) TB certificate
3) Certificate and Transcripts if that is what was written on your CAS
4) Travel history if you have any
5) if married, family pictures
6) if sponsored by parents, birth certificate

anyone can please add to this list but note that it differs from applicant to applicant..

Only include it if it helps your application. If it doesn't help your application, don't include it so you don't complicate what should normally be a simple process.

Then you need to be well prepared. Also be ready to explain what you've been up to since your BSc and why you think now is a good time to get a Master's degree and the advantage your degree will give you professionally.
Read up all the variety of questions that have been posted on the thread to give you an idea of the kind of questions to expect. Also note that some questions will be based on your answer to a previous question. Don't divulge any unnecessary details that can work against you. Be concise in your answers. If you feel like you didn't hear a question properly, ask the interviewer to repeat him/herself. You can also check with the interviewer to ensure that what you say is what's heard.

Actually struggling to understand your post. Well my post is against the minister's timing of his decision. I don't think anybody bought a luftansa or klm ticket when the airspace was reopened. You obviously know why people avoided those airlines.

Emirates ban is a case of your school for instance issuing you an admission, you pay your tuition in full, then they make a u-turn that you can't take that course. I wonder how most people will feel compared to if the course wasn't made available initially.

The minister was well aware of the issues on ground before approving the airline for September 5th reopening. Thousands of people would not have purchased tickets with Emirates if they were blacklisted from the onset.

When it was Trump/USA ban, I can't remember what the minister did.

No! Just take only the documents the UK Visa center requires which are the documents listed on your CAS.

this is very important o. check that what you say is what he heard. during my phone interview he asked me how much my mum earned and how she was able to part sponsor me, i said 750,000 a month. baba go write 50,000. it was when he was about to end the interview he asked me again how she was able to afford millions if she only earned 50,000 a month, omo i shout o. told him i said 750k, he said ehen he would have been suprised. always make sure

Those waka ppl don't know what they are doing. Not professional at all. The ppl on the phone desk obviously don't have full info.

After I got info here about the BA promo, I decided to call them. At least it was the logical thing to hear from the horse's mouth.

Unfortunately the horse in this question was confused.

They gave me wrong info that I'm not eligible, I took that info as first hand and I opted for another airline.

I had already booked another airline before I saw someone here reinforcing that I was still eligible for the BA promo.

Called wakanow again, and the person who responded was telling me to wait so she gets right info.

Called the third time, I was told the person who has the info was in a meeting.

Called the 4th time, then I guess it was the person who had the right info that picked. By then, it was too late, they had already successfully misled me

So you might just want to press to be sure that the person feeding you over the phone is the one with the right info
