Re: Victor Ojeamiran: Soldier Commits Suicide After ‘False’ Phone Theft Accusation by MemoriesAndMe: 10:56pm On Sep 22, 2020
These Nigerian fighters in the war fronts really need more attention than they get. I dont know if it will make any sense to many, but these people deal with deaths every day. Ordinary coro talk, all of una wey naija soldiers dey call "bloody civilians" lock una door front, from una neighbours and even family, yet these soldiers were still doing their jobs, regardlessof coro or anything. You can lock your doors from family members for coro, yet many of these soldiers were hoping for time to see their own families.

Though the uniform give some of them unnecessary prowess, many events these soldiers have seen, dont make many of them see much difference from a walking human than a dead one. Just like some surgeons will look at a posing dead model, with all the Brazilian hair, Italian nails, Russian tattoos, scanty outfits, social media follower counts etc and simply compare them to lifeless cadavers they cut apart in their labs to study their organs. LIke butchers do to animals meant for retail. Cadaver is just an ordinary dead body and it applies to all of us. Your armored car and escorts won't stop you from being a cadaver when its time for autopsy, so why too stress or show off like what applies to everyone already forgot about you?

Sane countries have programs in place for these soldiers that have been through these terrible experiences. Many of them return to the society with diagnosis like PTSD, which many rich nations struggle to treat for their war heroes.. Yet we have soldiers in Nigeria complaining about their welfare, unpaid salaries, over-controlling superior officers and outdated firearms and ammunition to fight more sophisticated bandits with. Common na, Lets sometimes put ourselves in other people's situations.

Im not a soldier, but i can put myself in their shoes like everyone reading this can. Its not easy for a soldier that has seen his friends killed in warfronts to easily fit in the society, let alone deal with random accusations that they need to first bounce back to the civilian mode to even comprehend.

E get one mumu wey dey always patrol this yonder dey correct every human being english. Make him touch my own make thunder fire all 10 both of him finger. Na person wey get finger fit type, ba? Whether I borrow dictionary or finger from him hand. I don spoke.

The superior officer should have taken him to kangaroo court to be tried instead, he went too far in taking his own life.

Most people have committed outrageous acts and still lived on.

Civilians have been punished by the military on so many accounts.

I think he was emotionally weak, he couldn't handle it.

It's really not easy at all... RIP to your friend

Talking to someone hardly solves the problem, because no one cares...

They just want to hear the ordeal... depressed people hardly gets solution when they open up, because only few good ones care..or are willing to help

I pray God help us
