PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Maiduguri, accused Borno State Elders of playing to the gallary over the activities of Boko Haram Islamic sect insurgency in the state, describing the situation as unfortunate.

Jonathan spoke during an interactive session with Borno State stakeholders at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House Maiduguri, in continuation of his two- day working visit to Borno and Yobe States, the epicentres of Boko Haram.

He was responding to requests by the Elders for the Federal Government to grant amnesty to the sect members as well as withdraw the military Joint Task Force, JTF from Maiduguri and other areas in the state during the second day of his working visit to Borno State..

President Jonathan lamented that none of the elders in the state had publicly condemned the killings and bombings being carried out by the sect members and advised them to put their ‘’house in order,’’ by talking to their children who had been causing havoc in the country to drop their arms against the country.

The monster of unemployment, illiteracy and insecurity in this nation when it is unleashed full force, will not even be tamed by high powered security forces of political office holders. I am Igbo but have been in the north most part of my life.

The GOVERNOR knows better than all of us seeing he gets 1st hand security information at his beck and call..But for like most military war campaigns,they become "hydra headed",when not contained almost immediately..

The same useless *era* that was PDP led (noticed I didnt call party at this juncture)should have contained this and we won't be saying all this..

It's now gone beyond fighting MISCREANTS that mostly dont know what they are fighting for...Their "puppet masters" now run a ring of businesses within that Lake Chad Belt that takes it all the way to the area of Cameroon mountains..Even the numerous NGOs in Borno are part of the "Organised Crime" in the north east..

Don't even mention PDP..

The FG now has done 1000 times better than the PDP's FG..

Zulum hasn't even complained about the FG because he knows what this present FG is doing about this Boko Haram issue..Infact,he has been praising BUHARI.

So pls,don't say anything to irk the sensibilities of some of us that know the truth.
