She was going to be his Oshoala for the tournament. She was there in 2014 and it was clear that 2016 was going to be her year

Exactly that would have been her major breakout tournament because she has been on fire right from her U17 days...she only came in towards the end of some of the game's during the 2014 U20 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. That same year she scored 3goals and gave 1 assist at the U17.

Ebere Orji, she would be 28yrs by December 23. She's one forward who hasn't lost any of her brilliance in front of goal, play her from the Left/Right/Center she will deliver.. Another plus for the Superfalcons right now is that she plays alongside Uchenna Kanu upfront for their Clubside Linkoping FC. The Understanding between them is something whosoever will be named Superfalcons coach need to take advantage of...

Typical Central midfielders who's very hard-working with good all-round abilities, which makes her skilled at both defending and attacking. Ayinde is that players who can therefore track back to her own box to make tackles and block shots and also carry the ball forward or run to the opponents' box to try to score.
Play Halimatu Ayinde Centrally or Box-to-Box, she will give you exactly what you want.. Although she sometimes slot in as a Defensive Midfielder but that isn't her best position..

Yes Rita Chikwelu 32yrs is old but most of this Women Footballers performs better at their old age, her experience is something we can't overlook... I think the Coaches need to bring in the Likes of SC Benfica Defensive Midfielder Christy Ucheibe for the place of Chikwelu, She's Plays typically like Winifred Ndidi this will enable Okobi roam freely and give more room for Ayinde to travel box-to-box.. Those who watched the 2018 U20 FIFA Women's World Cup in France can testify how good she's..

Don't be surprised if we here she Franny is also scoring goals in China. Like I only found out her past season stats lately and they were good. The Chinese women's league gets very poor coverage. U rarely see their games online

I will still pick Ordega ahead of Kanu....
Experience, Pace, strength and Defensive abilities Ordega is ahead of her and she does more of the playing and assist than Scoring..

Kanu is more of a goal Scorer, she plays like Ronaldo always eager to score which is one aspect she's better than Ordega....
I think with time Kanu will reach her full potential and will be unplayable..

Nnadozie is based in France with Paris FC ..out of three game this season, she hasn't debut yet but has been on the bench on two games with Brazilian Goalkeeper Natascha Honegger playing ahead of her as First Choice..
let wait and see how it goes and I'm very sure she will definitely take her Chance..

Ugo Njoku will be 26yrs by November 27.... have been off the game since Last year, she's back with Rivers Angels but hasn't played football this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic..

She's Looking so chubby and need to work more to attain her Fitness back..

With the rise of Chidinma Okeke as another Right Back there would be a stiff Competition between this two in that Position who's to start..
Left for me i go Pick inform Ugo Njoku oooo
she be correct Modern day Right Back
she don deliver well well from U17 to U20 to Superfalcons..

Fransisca Ordega have not played any game this season, she's currently here in Nigeria, couldn't return to her Clubside in China because of the Covid-19 pandemic and with recent unconfirmed report it shows that some of them won't be returning to China...

ONOME Ebi
Fransisca Ordega
Chinwendu Ihezuo

I think i perfectly understand their individual strength now. I was considering our lack of goals in major tourney when i picked kanu since she is a goalscorer.

Falcons get a new coach, think he was on NFF radar before, his name Randy Waldrum, he has spent most of his coaching career as a collegiate coach and I don't find that inspiring.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 3:07pm On Oct 05, 2020
Randy Waldrum is new Super Falcons’ Head Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the appointment of Mr. Randy Waldrum as the new Head Coach of the Senior Women National Team, Super Falcons.

Waldrum, an American who played as a midfielder, has worked largely within the American women football circle and was head coach of the Trinidad and Tobago national team between 2014 and 2016.

He will work with former Super Falcons’ goalkeeper and captain Ann Chiejine, who is the first Assistant Coach, while Wemimo Mathew Olanrewaju will serve as second Assistant Coach and Auwar Bashir Makwalla will be goalkeepers’ trainer.

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick thanked Philips Consulting, the executors of the recruitment processs, and said he has confidence that the new technical crew will take the Super Eagles to brand new heights.

“The predominance of the Super Falcons on the African continent has never been in doubt, with nine titles out of 11 editions of the Women AFCON competitions held so far. We envision a new Super Falcons squad competing favourably for laurels at the global level, and I believe the new technical crew led by Mr. Waldrum can take us to that level.”

Congratulations to our Super Falcons. After one year and 4 months of inactivity, we finally get a new coach.

But wait ooo... This Randy Waldrum was announced as the coach some years ago before Dennerby was appointed and he rejected it. Hope he won't reject it again this time. He is also a college coach in US, coached Trinidad and Tobago female team. His CV is not rich and not impressive ooo. But like Gernot Rohr, I hope he uses Nigeria to shine and revive his coaching career. I hope he organizes quality friendlies for our SFs, discover new young talents and develop our female league. I'm sure NFF will also tell him to reside in Nigeria for easy monitoring and grooming of local talents. He has a huge assignment on his hands. God help him!!!

Ann Chiejiene has been a goalkeeper coach, but now she is assistant coach. That's impressive... One day she could coach the team..

Randy Waldrum believe so much in developing Young Player's and Possession Football.. His experience in Coaching the College Teams, Houston Dash, US U23 team and Trinidad and Tobago is something we can benefit from.

Coach Randy love to play the 4-3-3 Formation also

Now we are half-talking.

The NFF should get our girls games ASAP in 2021. That's when we will be fully talking.

She was the Assistant to Florence Omagbemi back then in 2016, she has also worked as an assistant coach with the U17 Women's team years back.. she's currently the head coach of Abia Angels..

She has CAF highest Coaching qualification and she's also CAF Coach instructors..

Wemimo Matthew worked as the Head Coach of Sunshine Queens, she worked with Thomas Dennerby during the last AWCON before she was dropped, she was also one of the assistant Coaches for the U20 side to 2014/2016 world cup she's experience too....

With Ann Chiejine who knows more about Nigeria/African Women Football alone sef, Randy would be do a good job..

As for the Goalkeeper Coach he had been on and off with the Various Women National Teams since 2010.. A well known and respected Goalkeeper Coach,
