A lot of persons who earn so little lost their jobs during this covid/19 era and if they all killed themselves who will be left?

Many private school teachers earning as little as N25,000 lost their jobs, rather than die, they are looking for the way forward. This one just carry go die after earning millions over many years! Na wa o.

It will be very difficult for the africans to understand why he took his life, it will not make sense to them. But in the western world people live on credit he probably going to loose his house in about few months because it is on mortgage. Majority of the people, probably 95% of them live on credit, people don't own anything in the western world the banks own everything, This is the main reason why 95% of Nigerians in the western world can't return back to Nigeria. They don't have anything fall back on Nigeria.

When you are used to earning within certain brackets and you are accustomed to living a certain standard with your expenses, it becomes difficult to manage the moment your earnings drop. Maybe while we are rich or become rich tomorrow we should act as though we know it will never last forever,so that when or of it goes we don't fall into such a level of depression. This world is tragic and temporal.

Some things in this story do not add up.

How will a retired VP of British Petroleum be worried about finances?

He worked at BP for 10 years which means he must have enough savings. This is not inclusive of his earnings at the top oil companies he worked with previously.

He was looking for job after retirement does not sound palatable to my ears.

Finally, he must have been given a retirement package which must be massive and he must have also had a steady pension from BP.

I have been in this shoe! � It happened after my secondary school.. My mum got me a job (50k) i was so in money as a young dude, Can't use phone up to 6 months will get new one! Lol.. After 3 years of working and enjoying my money i got addmitted to uni...Then my life started changing no income only spend the one i saved... Months in school i got broke for my first time in life..won't forget those moments... Was depressed !
