Audacius:

The "new" FBNH started dividend numbering from 01. FBN Plc stopped at Div. 55

I hope a ban doesn't follow this as we have read. Well, I seldomly post. I guess it would have elapsed before I know about it.

If it is a glitch, we might be asked to refund or we have collected some dividends in advance.

What's the fair price to go into UBA?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Ibrahim505(m): 12:54pm On Oct 03, 2020
I wonder why UBA is not appreciating while it's among the few liquid stocks with better return on investment in NSE.

If you want cap appreciation ...
Stick to GTB and Stanbic....
All the others bank can only move up significantly...

The rule is get into any stock at the right price and right time. Then relax and watch.

I keep averaging down on Guinness, I don't know when it will start it's upward trend but I know it's a stock that will move up eventually

Please I need an assistance. The stockbroking firm I'm using is no more in existence. No phone nor office to reach them. I approached a new stockbroking firm. they requested for my cscs number for transfer. How will I get the cscs number?

I learnt that Guiness has a huge debt profile. Can they clear it and come back on track within 1 year?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Danniee(m): 5:00pm On Oct 04, 2020
The best time to decide on GUINNESS is when just conlcuded quarter result is seen. We are experiencing new normal, old believe might not be relevant again. Apart from Covid-19 impact, leakages - in the system, need to be blocked in appropriate manner.

If you have previous printed statement of account from your previous broker, check it, you'll most likely see the CSCS number and CHN number on it.

Alternatively, send mail to: info@cscs.ng
Lagos Phone No: +234 1 903 3551, +234 1 460 1900
Abuja Phone No: +234 9 290 9043, +234 9 290 8750

Email preferably

Fitch Revises Nigeria’s Outlook from Negative to Stable
Nigeria’s credit rating, assigned by the top international rating agency, Fitch, was revised on September 30, 2020, from a Negative Outlook to Stable though still pegged at the ‘B’ grade.

Positive events stemming from the stability in oil prices, improving global financing conditions, and the relaxed restrictions on lockdown measures paved way for the revision of the Nations’ outlook.

Furthermore, the rating priced-in the accretion to external reserves due to loans from foreign lenders, restrictive capital flow measures, the partial unification of exchange rates across its varied FX windows amid other negative externalities on the economy.

To place in a better context, an increased or stable credit rating implies that operating conditions have improved, and economic risks have failed to crystalize.

Against this backdrop, investor perception of the Nigerian economy is expected to strengthen. Although, we envisage that Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) will focus more on the FX policy than the rating, hence we do not envision a significant reaction from investors due to the persistent inaccessibility of the capital market.

This suggestion is based on what information? Corporate Recovery? Industry analysis or Technical analysis? . I hope the advice is based on any of the above factors as we all know Hope investing can be risky.

Sorry if you find my queries irritating, I am one of those who don't know as far as Guinness is concerned.

Most Stockbroking firms that ceased operations either merged with other companies or transferred their clientelle to other Brokers.

What is the name of the stockbroking firm you were using? We may be able to assist you to trace their new name.
