I dread updates right from the days of Nokia. I had a nasty experience sometime in 2013 when I decided to update my Nokia OS, I eventually sold the phone.

Updating is a 50/50 thing. your phone either gets better or gets worse. Most times it is usually worse and may even get bricked. Unfortunately it is irreversible.

You can do your research and you will see that more than 50% of people always complain after update. Nothing beats the one preinstalled from the factory.

I don't bother about updates as long as my phone is still performing well. If i want an update, I will buy another phone.

You're too far from truth, stop infesting gullible minds with this your "disease" mentality. Wetin you gain without updates.

Same thing happens to mine, it's because the contacts are synced to your Gmail.

I don't know how to delete bro, we're in the same dilemma

If you know you know grin grin grin

On a serious note, I have a R9 so I simply used it to snap the new one.
Surprisingly, the picture quality from the device's stock camera is not all bad at all... Considering the price...

Can u drop some samples on the photography thread?

If I need a clean phonebook, what I do is clean the phonebook of any "impurities", export my contacts to phone memory, delete my contacts from my phonebook account, go back online and delete it from Google contact,
then, import the clean .csv contact file to my Google contact account and sync it.

Note: you will need to delete your backup contacts on all other cloud backups to have a clean phonebook.

They're synced to your Google account.

I think you should try deleting the contacts with your internet connection on and then heading into Google account settings and disabling contacts sync.
