I don't care about colour for this type of characters with multiple origins...the recent Hawkman issue was Egyptian so I see nothing wrong if an Egyptian is black..if he is from Thanaga then he is an alien and I see nothing wrong with a black alien

Well as for me I'm cool with it since they're going with Prince Khufu and Sheyera reincarnation arc. Also that arc has been around for some time now, so it isn't as if they're appropriating White Roles for Blacks vice versa. It's a pretty solid arc too.

Besides we also need more Variety of Race(s) in DC. We'll be getting Black/Latino Catwoman and Black Gordon, so I don't mind. There wasn't much shout during these previous castings just continuity issues and concerns. I think it's because the Actor in question is unknown hence the massive backlash. Zoe Kravitz and Jeffrey Wright are well known, same can't be said for Aldis.

I hardly see no way a Green Lantern Corps project would be in production and Geoff Johns isn't involved. Cos the guy is literally the one behind the most prominent GL stories. Also a big influencer of Aquaman comics which brought the character to limelight. He literally made Aquaman and GL look cool. Unless he's truly pushed out entirely from DC.

Greg Berlanti is literally the Kevin Feige of DC TV Division. From Titans, Stargirl, Doom Patrol et all. Same thing.. why I ain't bothered much bout it's quality is cos it's from HBO. And they've assured of it's quality after fans doubts with Berlanti.
