Love them both,but love my dad more.. That man have done alot for me... Without fathers, most of us here will not be where we are today.. Fathers r kings.. To be a man is not a day job.. Sacrifice all he have for his children.. Abeg no easy.
..If you don't appreciate your dad now, wait till you become one.. You leave home early and come back late.. Just to provide for your family.. Twale to all fathers out there..

I don't know why some people are shouting a man is always under appreciated because he is less emotional and all when no one is complaining that some people prefer their dad to their mom.

It's still a draw on this thread so far.

Lol. I don’t understand why they are whining. Some people chose their mums and some their dads. I don’t see them going after the ones that chose their fathers, but they won’t allow the mummy-kids be. grin

I am closer to my dad. It is not even about bond or time, because my mum did majority of the caregiving. I am a daddy’s girl, an unrepentant one. In summary, my dad is the god I see. That’s all...

growing up, mom had the most, but getting to where I am, av learnt to keep it 50-50 for both.... That man is my hero.

Dad. ( Of blessed memory) I really liked him. He spoilt us with gifts and fun outings. But mum always beats and can send you on errands on end that you'll be wondering if it was errands you came to this life to run. So, it made me withdraw from her right from my childhood. Though she can be nice at times but ends up spoiling her niceness with constant beating.

It's Baba Risi for life. That man sacrificed a lot to see us through school as he was not opportuned to be educated. His friends, especially my mom's elder bro told him he was wasting money on training girls, he looked pass all those and sent us to school.
Today, he has 3 female graduates, 1 male graduate and 3 undergraduates.
He's my GOAT everyday, everytime and anywhere.

My dad o. Even though we're not really close as he works all day. But I've seen the sacrifices he has done for us kids. He never flogs us. He has never for once insulted or belittled me before. He's funny and calm and outgoing. We never lacked while we were in school even if things were tough he still provided. He never demanded much from us, he does most of his things by himself. God grant him good health and wealth and long life. No body is perfect but part of my goal in this life is to always put a smile on his face. How do I tell him I love him though.
