Ever heard of pent-up anger?

This #EndSars Movement is just a start. A trigger, It may eventually lead to people protesting about all the things you mentioned.

And SARS should be scraped. A new unit with a strict guildeline and a better code of conduct/Ethics should replace it. Something like SWAT in USA or HRT in Korea (I think).

SAART: Special Assault And Rescue Team, Maybe. And it should only be allowed to Operate in special cases where their services are needed.

People are tired of everything, is protest is not just about #endsar ... this is just showing how frustrated Nigerians are about everything that is going on in this country .. something must fuel the protest /revolution.... guess you are comfortable about everything ..

Bruv, they had tried reform in the past. Every average Nigerian knows for a fact that SARS and NPF as outlived it's purpose.
Fraudsters got no problem with SARS, all they do is bribe their way out. But ordinary hustler with some 'weird' fashion sense or nice gadgets are those been killed or harassed. Kolade Johnson wasn't a fraudster. Every youth who drives a good, clean car knows how often you get stopped for no reason and you end up bribing else they delay you.
99.9999999% of Nigerian citizens don't carry guns, which explains why 99 percent of gun fatalities are police shots.
Our police could make arrest without guns, all you need is a handcuff and probably a baton.
