SARS doesn't have any business with fraudsters, im a freelance, and my friends also, but we always hide our head.


Last week, one of my guy wey dey trade forex, SARS brutalise am, despite him purposely identifying himself.

SARS has outlived its usefulness. It needs to be totally SCRAPPED, and a new organization strictly for armed robbers, kidnappers and cultists be formed, and properly regulated.

Question: Is Sars the agencies responsible for internet fraudulent eradication, with all the arrest they've made how many of the fraudster have been sue to court.
Is collecting phones illegally from Police officers right, wrong accusations, Is dread a crime, are all the young guys with cars a fraudster.
I got your point about we in legitimate business having issues of this yahoo guys but is killing innocent people the solution?

That is why government is talking about reforming them but reformation cannot be possible where there is extreme poverty . The root cause of sars behaviour is poverty and corruption . Let me give u this example . I use to have a police officer friend when I was staying at iju ishaga ...this guy works with ajuwon police station near akute. One day I just got to his how to receive a shocking news that armed robbers killed him . The painful aspect was that the only shot a few gun salute and drop a token for the family ...till date nobody cares about the people he left behind . Our politicians live a life of luxury while police men are paid chicken fee ....despite the risk they take . Unfortunately they turn there frustration on the citizens . If the government can have serious insurance for the police , goid salary package , good accommodation ...and ultimately making sure that all those they left behind get scholarship to university levels and also get jobs...I can assure you that this sars brutality will disappear. Untill our leaders do the right thing , this nation will never move forward

Hi dear, I agree with your point 100%, but how many of these fraudsters have been brought to justice by SARS? It's the function of EFCC or ICPC to pursue and bring these criminals before justice.
SARS only encourage them to perpetuate the crime by extorting them. We only hear of the brutality when these SARS pick a non-Yahoo boy and the extortion goes south.

The fraudsters easily settle them and we never hear it.
We truly need to reform the police to ensure they enforce the law without prejudice

Cybercrime is mostly perpetrated indoors, so being scared to come out won't do much. That can only deter them from showing off . Cybercrime is contained by thorough digital forensics. Of which the efcc is on the right path but need more personnel and resources.

Protests are usually specific to a cause or a reaction against an event. We can have series of protests to cover all areas but This particular one is about the high handedness and impunity of the police in general. Endsars is just the slogan, the demand is for a reform to stop brutality, profiling, outright murder , kidnapping and extortion by ironically, the police.

All I am interested in, is a total fight to discourage Fraudsters; I have been in Police Fraud unit where an inspector was educating a Young man on how to do Fraud successfully, the whole system needs reform. EFCC, Police Fraud Unit, Ikoyi or SARS. We should demand for a total reform, and fight the institutions for not delivering as promised, we should channel our protest to that; we should protest on how the Government utilize our funds and not SCRAPPING A UNIT CALLED SARS.
