Bruan:The GCMS note is self explanatory and straightforward. In your next attempt, include documents that would demonstrate that your situation has substantially improved. It is clear that the compensated agent you used in your last application didn't include sufficient documentation to support your case. Since you will be self-sponsored in the subsequent process, add as much property documents and a bank statement covering for a period of 4-6 months in proof of your financial standing and establishment. Secondly, re-write your LOE by pointing out the new changes and information you've included in this current application. Don't also forget to include the degree certificate which the visa officer stated in the case note was missing. It will end in praise. |

Anon123:I sent both my statement of 10m and my uncles of 20m but probably the agent left my uncles own out as seen in the gcms, Same with the degree certificate, it was sent to him but most likely wasn’t uploaded. |

Hello Bruan From the visa officer's notes, you’d need to work on 1) your funds 2) home ties 3) justify the money spent on the studies is reasonable (using your statement of purpose/letter of explanation) 4) You should also attach your BSC certificate and university transcript. 1) Funds The rule is to show 1 year tuition + at least 10,000 cad for living expense. But for self sponsored applicants, it’s not uncommon for the visa officer to want to see how you’ll pay for the rest of your studies (if the study is more than a year) Since you want to be self sponsored, I’ll advice you to have the tuition for your whole program available plus living expenses. You can also pay tuition for first year (please check and confirm the refund policy of the school before paying) The money should not be exact, have some little left over after all this is deducted. 2) Home ties This could be a business, good job with study leave letter, your family members, lands/houses or assets, active community involvement. You should attach a proof and also state in your SOP that you’ll come back to them. 3) justify the money spent on the studies is reasonable You have to justify how the course will help you advance in your career, why the money spent on the course makes sense (reasonable) You should talk about this in your SOP (statement of purpose) Since you’ll be self sponsored, you’ll need to show the source of your income. If you’re employed (payslips and employment proof) or if you’re a business person (your business registration documents) Best wishes Bruan: |

ijeoma12345:Hello Ijeoma12345, You may be able to properly justify the reason why deciding to go with just your 2year old baby than moving everybody at a go. You've done well for yourself by been able to select a course that demonstrates progression but you have to be more realistic and specific about its benefits, future employment prospect and other areas of personal or career development. Since you vouch for work experience up to a duration of 10yrs, its only right if you can demonstrate that you are well establishement both financially and economically. Its a good decision that you'all be a cosponsor of your study intent. However, you may not find it that easy in trying to convince the VO on why at this moment after 10yrs of working in the banking sector now decided to switch to the communications sector irrespective of having a previous background. It may have been more easier if you had gone for business and management programs since you have a very strong work experience in this field and which is also related to your spouse's line of consulting business. This way, proving the future benefits, intent for the study, and reliable employment availability to offset the cost of study may be well-explained in referencing a stronger home ties (given the current employment situation in your Nigeria) than the communications sector which you have a very weak background, exposure and experience. In as much as paying tuition fees isn't a guarantee or prerequisite for a positive outcome, you may just consider paying the full amount since its available. Doing this may help you demonstrate your financial strength or freedom based on your available balance after tuition cost. Since you will be accompanied, it would then be easier to demonstrate available funds for LE for two. However, the implication for this is if the visa is refused and getting a refund may not come back in complete whole. If the risk is worth it, then this advise is for you. Otherwise, meet only the tuition payment (deposit + first semester) as stipulated by your DLI. On your appointment date, you are only required to give your biometrics. Your travel itinerary arrangements are not mandated. You can invest that time and resources on other areas when packaging your application. The PCC is optional and doing upfront medicals is also optional. You may want to wait for medicals to be requested. If you already have all the relevant documents at hand, then you can go ahead to submit your application but if otherwise then defer and set your focus at the next possible intake. Ensure you have evidence to show that you've secured, booked or applied for a daycare/nanny for your baby. You can start by enquiring from your school for assistance or guidance. Kindly write your study plan to how best it completely explains your situation and/or describes your application. However, avoid long and irrelevant stories or narrations. The investment certificate makes actually sense if its purpose is to serve as support for the main POF. All the best |

Bruan:I’m guessing the VO is looking at it that the expense of the program outweighs the benefit of the program to you.. you need your sop to show the VO how important going for the program would mean to your employment situation and educational development as well. Godspeed bro |

Osemigho:Bro, Thank you for all you do here, your contributions have not gone unnoticed. Based on the discuss, 2022 isn't a far time away. I gave the duration as a guesstimate which is subject to change as applicable to the moniker's personal circumstances. Maybe she should simulate her CRS score to know if she can score up to the current score of 471 prior to tomorrow's draw. I believe Thanksgiving was fun?! All the best |

Bruan:What the visa officer meant by the statement "Great expense for moderate gain" is basically because of your current employment status as a "Warehouse Clerk". The visa officer believes that the your present pay scale at your place of work is too low to incur the cost of studying abroad. In an effort to overcome the concerns of the visa officer, you must adequately explain in your LOE the career prospects of Supply Chain Management graduates in Nigeria. Upon the completion of your studies in Canada, what are the job securities and possibility of getting a mouth-watering job in Nigeria. You need to explain if it far outweighs the incentives of staying back in Canada. I would recommend you write very well about your future goals and prospects in Nigeria. It will end in praise |

Hi JustMellow, God bless you for the info. All you said is well noted. Why I choose the communication is simply because i have part experience in communication in d bank where i work and and would love to exploit that part since I'm not grounded in it and it's more like am taking a study leave to return to my organisation after my program to continue with them.Hence the reason for my choice of program. 2ndly,the mutual fund has been save for over a yr and has been transacted upon but kept increasing except now we intend to use most of it for the school.besides It should still have about N4m left after paying schl fees and expenses for myself and baby.So dont you think this can be enough proof for them to survive on till my return even though my hubby salary is not much? Please let me know what you think. Many thanks JustMellow Pls I'll appreciate if you can copy and send me your feedback to my mail also for personal reasons. ijeomavalerie88@gmail.com God bless you and others that have helped me here. You're truly one family.
